Linlithgow Palace
As you pass by Linlithgow Palace in Scotland, you'll see a magnificent medieval castle that once served as the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. Although much of the palace now lies in ruins, the grandeur and history of the site are still evident. Built in the 15th century by King James I, the palace was a favored residence of the Scottish monarchs for centuries, and it played a pivotal role in many important events in Scottish history. Today, visitors can still explore the palace's many chambers, courtyards, and towers, and imagine what life was like for the royals who once called this impressive castle their home.
The Kelpies & The Helix
As you pass by The Kelpies Monument in Scotland, you'll catch a glimpse of two massive, towering horse head sculptures, standing at 30 meters tall. Designed by artist Andy Scott, these magnificent works of art pay homage to Scotland's industrial past and the working horses that helped build the country's canals and waterways. The Kelpies are an unforgettable sight, even from a distance, and a must-see for anyone visiting Scotland.

The tour was amazing, got to see everything in as described, plus more! Due to the extreme weather (subzero C's temps) the canals in the Wheel were frozen so the boat trip was canceled, and...I am happy it was. I still got to see the wheel, and from what I gathered the boat trip's kinda boring. You get in a boat, you go up the wheel forward about ~ 1km, back, down that's it. Instead as we had extra time the tour guide (I am absolutely horrible with names so I'll call the guy "the guy from Latvia" suggested and we went and saw 2 more castles that would have otherwise not been in the list of things to see! And if you ask me...silly boat ride vs more castles....the castles win hands down! In addition to that "the guy from Latvia" was a fountain of information both of and about the sites we were visiting and in general about Scotland, recommendations of what I could see in Edinburgh and after during the rest of my trip in Scotland and so on and so forth and very friendly overall. Highly recommended.

Ed was a great guide and driver. He is very knowledgeable. He accommodated our request to stop by at Kelpies before our Stirling Castle tour. We really had great time and enjoyed every part of this tour.

Perfect tour for a small group! We skipped Falkirk Wheel, and went to William Wallace Monument instead.
