Despite living less than 2 miles from the distillery I had never visited it and so when I was gifted a tour for Christmas I was intrigued to find out if it was any good. Well I wasn't disappointed, from the minute you walk through the front door your are greeted in a relaxed and friendly manner. Our guide for the tour was Evelyn and she was a fountain of knowledge taking us through the various stages of whisky making and explaining the history of how Falkirk Distillery came to be. I've been on quite a few distillery tours in my time and it was nice to have a guide who actually enjoys drinking whisky and not not just reciting from the script. At the end of the tour we got to the best part, the tasting. There were three different releases and each had a unique flavour all of their own. However the Kelpies Sherry cask was by far my favourite and needless to say I procured a bottle to enjoy later. There were hints that the distillery will be opening a restaurant in the not too distant future and that is something to look forward to. So if you like whisky and your in the area go visit and taste some excellent drams.

A brilliant distillery tour! This maybe a young distillery but the this family enterprise makes for a warm and perfectly enchanting experience! The tour was led by Ray who was so kind, knowledgeable and good fun. We even had a visit from the owner George, which was a delight! The tastings were generous and accompanied by shortbread... and delicious. 10/10...don't miss if you are near Falkirk.

A great tour today by Ray! He was very Informative, enthusiastic and a great guy! The tour was fascinating and great to see how everything is done within the facilities instead of externally. Highly recommend ⭐️

A very nice distillery tour. The owner(George) showed up and assisted with extra whisky for the tasting. The different whiskies tasted excellent and we will come back.

Excellent experience and well worth a visit. We stayed at a lovely cabin in Polmont (Heart of Scotland - recommend staying here) so it was just a pleasant and easy 20 min walk from accommodation to the distillery. I have been on a few distillery tours and this one is distinct because you really are wandering around an actual working distillery just as the staff do - not staged areas like many places, this is the real deal, a proper behind the scenes experience. Its only a small distillery but that is part of the charm - our tour guide also bottles the whisky, designs and makes the labels, prints the bottle bags, designs the merchandise, runs the gift shop etc. He was basically and incredibly knowledgeable one-man band and deserves a pay rise! Being up close and personal meant we learnt a lot about whisky producing in general, it was very tenchincal and I'd actually recommend a visit to parents who's children are studying science GCSE as it was a great way to visually bring lots of scientific principles to life. We tried three whiskys at the end of the tour, and bought one (a smooth easy drinker that I think even non-whisky drinkers would enjoy). Great day out - thoroughly recommend. Will be even better once they open the restaurant.

We had the pleasure of visiting Falkirk Distillery at the Forth Valley Chamber networking event in March and it was a genuinely memorable experience. The passion and expertise of the team was evident throughout. Congratulations on the film — what a way to share the distillery with the world.
