5.00Marcel made this most memorable starting with a "skip the line" easy access into the museum. Great education on the early 19th century and transitioning to the early 20th century with the Impressionists. Understanding how society of the time viewed what was good and acceptable vs. what was forward thinking with the coming of a much different view by the young impressionists. Very interesting and thought provoking.

5.00Our tour guide, Hugo, was absolutely wonderful!!! He was born to teach and share his love of art. With his guidance, the Musée d’Orsay came alive for our family. He knit together the art, history, culture, and architecture in a way that inspired all of us, from the adults (who had seen the museum before but learned so many new things) to the teen who just completed a year long study of art history to the 10 year old for whom all of this was new. Hugo was funny, engaged and energetic. His wonderful personality as he walked us through each area of the museum led this to being the favorite activity in Paris for every member of our family!!!
