  Me and my wife booked the “Ultimate Snorkelling Trip – Ride & Slide by South Sea Cruises”, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences of our entire Fiji holiday. From the moment we stepped onto the boat until the very end of the trip, we felt nothing but warmth, happiness, care, and genuine hospitality from the entire crew. What made this trip truly special was not just the beautiful ocean, snorkelling, food, or activities — it was the people. The crew did not feel like staff at all; they felt like one big loving family, and somehow they made every single guest feel like part of that family too. The entire 4.5 hours passed so quickly that we genuinely wished the trip could continue longer because we simply did not want it to end. A very special mention to Mr. Api - what an amazing human being. From the very beginning, he welcomed everyone with such warmth, kindness, and positive energy. He explained the full schedule so clearly and throughout the trip he constantly checked on everyone to make sure all guests were safe, comfortable, and enjoying themselves. Whether we were in the water snorkelling or relaxing on the boat, he was always making sure everyone was looked after. Even while serving food and drinks, he did it with so much affection and care that it truly touched us. Thank you so much, Api it was an absolute pleasure meeting you. Mr. George was another absolute star of the trip. He guided us during snorkelling, and the way he looked after us made us feel completely safe and comfortable in the water. He treated us with so much patience and kindness, almost as if this was a private trip designed just for us. Thanks to him, we experienced the breathtaking underwater world in the best possible way. He showed us the most beautiful spots, filled with stunning corals and incredible colours, and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. We honestly cannot thank him enough for such a memorable experience. And of course, Captain Freddy deserves a huge thank you as well. He safely guided us throughout the journey with such professionalism while also keeping the atmosphere fun and lively the whole time. His smile, humour, and positive energy added so much joy to the trip. I also want to apologise because I unfortunately cannot remember the names of the other two amazing crew members (my bad!), but they were equally wonderful and friendly. Both of them along with my wife planned and tried to push me down the slide and almost succeeded too! 😂 Their fun nature and playful attitude made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this was genuinely one of the best experiences we had in Fiji. Meeting such wonderful crew members and sharing the trip with so many lovely families from different parts of the world made it even more special. We came back with beautiful memories, lots of laughter, and hearts full of happiness. To anyone travelling to Fiji this trip is an absolute must. We would recommend it without hesitation. A huge thank you once again to the entire South Sea Cruises team for making our holiday so memorable. Vinaka! ❤️

  Did the ride & slide. Was fantastic. Kids had a ball, especially on the inflatable slide. Crew were amazing and friendly. Food was perfect.

  It’s got everything , swimming, snorkelling, slide , jump into the ocean. Great snacks and drinks , plenty of and absolutely the best most amazing hosts you could ask for. Highly recommend!

  This is an excellent tour. I must have told the crew 5x how much fun I was having throughout the half day we were together. Api the cruise director along with the captain Aku and crew Jerry, Nics and Freddy explained the itinerary as well as safety requirements and then worked hard to make sure we were all having a good time. Cruise starts off with a boat ride out to the first snorkeling spot with wine, beer, soft drinks and chips to enjoy along the way. Crew got us anchored and handed out snorkeling equipment. Then we had 30 min to enjoy the reefs. Amazing colors for the coral and great variety of colorful fish and starfish (bright blue!). Then we cruised some more as the CD identified different islands and we enjoyed a lunch ( chicken wrap, pineapple, sausage roll and dessert.) Next stop we snorkeled again and also made our way onto island to relax in beach chairs, or kayak or paddleboard. This gave crew opportunity to get the slide set up. Talk about reliving your childhood. What a blast going down the slide. We also could jump into water from top deck. I don't think there was anyone who didn't do it. This anchorage was probably 1.5 hrs. On the ride back to Denarau Port, we were offered brownies and more refreshments. Ride back was about 30 min. As we were close to the dock the crew pulled out a guitar and sang to us, harmonizing and sounding great!. Like I said at the beginning, this is a great way to spend an afternoon in Fiji.

  Just wanted to say we did the ride and slide today and it was a fabulous tour!!! I’m from Australia and involved with selling Australian tours and will highly recommend this tour to any Australians visiting - The food was delicious and the staff amazing, attentive and entertaining. I lost my watch when swimming and a staff member even retrieved it for me. Just EXCELLENT Vinaka Rebecca

  

• Excellent Resort Transfer Option

  We travelled with South Sea Cats for our resort transfer on 3 April 2026 at 8:30am, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The crew were extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The transfer itself was smooth and well organised, but what really stood out was the atmosphere they created onboard. There was a genuine sense of warmth and fun, which immediately set a great tone for our staycation at the resort. Unfortunately, I cannot recall all the crew members’ names, but I have shared a selfie with management for reference so they can be recognised. Overall, a fantastic start to our trip and a great example of professional yet personable service. Highly appreciated and definitely memorable.

  The snorkeling was great we saw lots of fish and coral. All the guides were friendly one of them played some songs on his guitar. The island was nice which had lots of activities to do including kayaking, snorkelling and they even set up a slide on the boat. My kid loved the slide and jumping off the boat into the ocean when me and my partner did snorkelling. The trip was good they gave us lunch which was a nice plate of wraps and pineapple. They also gave us brownies and chips for a snack. They had plenty of drinks and beer. They supplied us with the snorkels and the flippers which were comfortable and safe. They gave kids life jackets so they are safe. I enjoyed it very much and it really is a 5 star experience to try.
