The whole experience was amazing! Made all the difference that our guide, Rómulo, is native to Chonta, gave to note that he knew the region by personal experience! The only noise was the wind, the magnificent Apurimac canyon, the view of the Humantay and Salkantay mountains and finally the condors flying in their natural habitat! Amazing! We saw several of them flying both above and below us, although they were reasonably distant from us. The Inca Temple of the Moon and Fertility was a wonderful addition! I highly recommend! Thank you to Romulus for helping us have such a wonderful experience!

Romulo was a great guide! We saw at least seven condors and he also pointed out many other birds. Don’t be concerned about the low number of reviews, he is a very experienced guide but just started a new company so the review numbers are low. Hike was easy to moderate. Thee road to the trailhead is not for the faint of heart.

We spent the day with our guide Romulo. As it is not a popular activity we had the guide just for me and my friend. Romulo was super nice, explaining many things during the visits of incas sites. Then we went to Condors Adventure Park that is kept by a local in the middle of nowhere. We got to do two ziplines and cross a bridge, and we had a delicious homemade lunch that we shared with the local and his mother. They were so welcoming and close to nature, even picking fresh fruits for us that they cultivate. In the afternoon we had a magnificent view on the mountains at the Condors mirador. We saw many condors but from far away, nature is unpredictable. But the view was absolutely worth it. It was one of the best day we had in Peru, very authentic with amazing people. Definitely recommend!
