Good information, sensible pace and helpful audio. Knowledgeable guide. Nice to have skip line entry to museums. Got a good overview of the older parts of Florence.

Maria is an absolute wonderful host! She gives you some history on the ride up to her stunning home in the countryside of Florence. Definitely have made a new friend and will come back again. The cooking was so fun and we sat around and ate like we were all family!

Our guide was very skillful in getting us into places; however, the guide showed little enthusiasm for the visit , skipped some of the most important works at Uffizi and generally was dismissive of the group (perhaps, thinking that many of us did not know much about art or did not care — hence, we booked a tour with the company and do not buy tickets ourselves) I got a tour because this was the only way for me to get in on the day I needed it. But I could probably organize my own time much better within the museum once I got in, without following the tour.

Jessica was an exceptional guide. Her deep knowledge of art history brought each piece to life, transporting us back to the time it was created and revealing the influences behind it. Her storytelling around the creation of David made Michelangelo feel vividly present, making the experience of seeing the statue even more captivating. Exploring Florence through the lives of those who shaped it gave us a richer, more meaningful understanding of the city.

We never truly visited ponte vecchio. We looked at it from the window of the uffizzi. We also did not go inside duomo or the baptistery. It was just walking by. Finally the wait for the uffizzi was ridiculous. Our guide could not be blamed for this as the volume of people was crazy, BUT we waited over an hour for “skip the line” tickets.

Plan to walk and quickly visit sites throughout Florence You will actually stand in line and wait to be in museums, even though they are time entries For a group of 4 it was over $600 If I booked both of these museums independently and went into individual lines, it would’ve been $400 and it looks like the individual lines moved way faster than the group ticketed lines. All lines are timed entry. Our time entry was one and we did not get in till 2 o’clock. Our tour guide said this is a normal situation. We were on the tour until about 3:30 pm If you’re looking to spend time in a museum with a lot of information given to you regarding historical and art, this is the tour for you.. The only bathroom brakes you get is when you’re done the museums and at lunch. Our tour guide was very informative, and a lot of education was given regarding the history /art of Florence we did do a full day tour 945 till 330 with a one hour break I think some of the situation is the tourism of the area is very high And the museums are making the most bang for their buck by allowing more patrons in and it’s overcrowded.
