Your day begins with a 30-minute or 1-hour or airboat tour deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Your US Coast Guard captain will give you an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands. My sister and I took the hour-long airboat tour on Saturday morning, and it was awesome! We spotted plenty of wildlife, including a few gators. Our tour guide, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us catch glimpses of alligators in their natural habitat. I would absolutely take this tour again! It was also a bonus that we were able to explore Wild Florida Park afterward. The park is beautiful, especially for someone like me coming from the deserts of Arizona. It wasn’t too large or crowded, which made it easy to see everything. Hawk Swamp, located in the center of the park, was an unexpected highlight and absolutely stunning. It was something I never imagined I’d see in person, and I could have stayed there for hours. We drove in from Orlando, and the entire area felt wonderfully remote, something the nature lover in me truly appreciated. If you enjoy animals and being out in nature, I highly recommend this adventure.

Our airboat experience was great from start to finish! Bobby, our boat pilot, was extremely personable, easygoing, and fun to be around. His knowledge of the area and ability to spot wildlife was impressive—he found several large alligators and brought us in close enough to get amazing photos. He even pointed out a nest with several baby gators, which was a real highlight! We felt completely safe the entire time, and the ride was both thrilling and incredibly enjoyable. This tour is *definitely* a must-do. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience! Boat ride was fun, something different than we’ve ever done. Saw a ton of birds and several gators, including some babies. Also really enjoyed the gator park. Small area with a lot of animal variety. Enjoyed how close you could get to the enclosures and that you could actually see the animals. Enjoyed our picture with fluffy, the 3-year old alligator and even the included lunch was good. All in all a great value for what we got and would definitely recommend.

We booked the one hour tour to experience more of the area. The airboat captain and all logistics with booking, checking in were excellent. The zoo included in the ticket was really interesting and we enjoyed the gator talk and photos.
