This tour is a treat for all senses. First and foremost, we'll try some of the delicious treats only available at Pike Place Market! We will also learn about the history of the Market and view much of the incredible art on display. We'll also take the time to be serenaded by one of the many street performers. Walking through the fascinating labyrinth of the Pike Place is a special treat. Take in breath taking views of Elliot Bay and the surrounding mountains (weather permitting!) and enjoy special attention from your guide due to small group sizes.
Wander Northwest Walking Tours is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA) to operate tours in the Pike Place Market Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting paid tours within its properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.

5.00I enjoyed the tour. I was lucky to have James to myself - he shared a lot of interesting info about the history of Seattle, the Waterfront and the market. Food was tasty - especially the Greek gelato.

5.00James was wonderful… Telling us the history and the amazing food he chose for us to try. We have been to Pikes before but we didn’t cover 1/2 of it. James showed us places in Pikes Market that were hidden but public accessible.

5.00If you are on the fence, I say go for it! James was our guide, and he was fantastic! I learned a bunch of stuff, sampled some great foods, and really just felt like I got to see and learn things I never would have had I not taken the tour with James (and my auntie!). Each of the vendors we visited were also wonderful and you could feel the "community" vibes all around. Definitely worth doing, I highly recommend!

5.00We’ve been to Seattle several times, but James’ Food Tasting & Arts Tour of Pike Place Market completely changed the way we saw it. What we thought would be a typical tourist spot turned into one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our trip. James brings the market to life with amazing stories, hidden gems, and bites from local spots we would’ve totally missed on our own. The food was delicious and he did a great job weaving in the local art and culture in a way that kept all of us engaged the whole time. If you’re visiting Seattle this is an absolute must. Highly recommend!

5.00The guide was very knowledgeable during the tour. He had different tastings lined up like honest buiscuts, they where busiscuts had melted cheddar in them, next was a creamy ice cream yogurt that was so delicious that we would love to order one day. He showed us a community/learning center for herbs, flowers and vegetables and explain we d how it came to be. Our favorite spot was the gum wall that he lead us too where we could add to it. We got to taste new foods like a meat pie it was good very favorable and a pork tomoli that was absolutely divine. Would absolutely go again. Thank you Dave for the amazing tour you did. 😀
