5.00Thanks to our guide Icy,we had an unforgettable tour of the Tiananmen square and Forbidden City.Visiting Beijing during Student’s winter vacation，you need be patient,cause there would be long lines for security checks,but Icy shared so many fascinating details when we were waiting ,which we never would have discovered in tour books.She guided us through the key halls efficiently without ever making us feel rushed, showed us the best shooting spots and gave us breaks for souvenirs and snacks.Icy made every moment engaging and worthwhile. If you truly want to understand and appreciate the Forbidden City beyond its surface, this tour is absolutely worth it — especially with Icy.

5.00First timers in China must try this organized tour. The tour gives you perspective and structure to China when nothing makes sense yet. Do take some buffer time to not be late! I was late and missed my tour. I am grateful they allowed me to join the next tour!

5.00We went on this tour because we only had one day in Beijing and had no idea how to navigate the ticketing system in China. This was a great decision despite the admission fee was more like $33 instead of the advertised $13 - the lines for individual tourists were super long and like a maze. Our tour guide Snow, a nice little lady, kept the group together and gave some interesting historical tidbits as we walked through the buildings. The ticket also included an exhibit of the living quarter and treasures kept by the retired Chinese emperor Chiang Long. It was a lovely tour. Although we walked 4+ hours in the cold, the tour still felt too short. I'll for sure be back with my family for the enjoyable experience (and maybe in a better weather).

5.00Tiananmen Square: Free of charge, make a reservation in advance on the mini-program.Arrive 1–2 hours early for the flag-raising ceremony. Visit the Monument to the People’s Heroes and Tiananmen Tower.Direct access via Subway Line 1 to Tiananmen East or West Station. The Palace Museum (Forbidden City): Book 7 days in advance on the official “Palace Museum” mini-program.Ticket: ¥60 in peak season, ¥40 in off-season; Treasure Gallery and Clock Museum cost ¥10 each separately.Enter through the Meridian Gate, follow the central axis (Hall of Supreme Harmony, Palace of Heavenly Purity) plus the Eastern and Western Palaces, about 4 hours.Exit from the Shenwu Gate; Jingshan Park opposite offers a panoramic view of the Forbidden City.Bring your ID card, carry as little luggage as possible, and use the bag-free channel for faster entry.

5.00A very busy day, Alan was an experienced and fantastic guide, attentive to the needs of the group. 5 hours well spent, generally, although I would have expected to see more from inside some buildings. But it is not attributable to the tour operator.
