5.00The experience with the tour company was great! We had a very nice tour lady and was able to relay all the information about the Forbidden City and T-Square in English well. The crowd size was way beyond my imagination. We had to wait about 1.5 hours just to get through into T-Square. Lots of walking so be prepare for some hike all day.

4.00Great walking tour of T- Square ans the forbidden city Personally I would have liked a little more time in the Square but got a good feel for the place. The Forbidden City was amazing - a real privilege to have been able to visit and met up to all expectations - a true gem of China Tour guide was very knowledgeable and answer all questions with confidence BE WARNED - this tour involves a serious amount of walking, my feet are in bits after this tour - the Square and Forbidden City are massive - don not do what I did and wear non- walking shoes!!

She didn't only recite names and statistical facts; she provided us with a number of fascinating lesser known details and anecdotes. The transition from Tiananmen Square to the Forbidden City was seamless, and upon ending the tour, she kindly gave me clear directions on how to get to the Temple of Heaven by myself.
