2.00The forbidden city is a very crowded place. Entering with a group of 20 people, waiting for the guide to explain, then waiting for everyone to finish taking pictures, and so on, is not the best way to experience the place. We ended up leaving the group and exploring on our own and had a good time off the beaten path (the palace is enormous and one can find quiet and peaceful areas too). That said, the guide and the organizer were nice and courteous. I'm sure it's not very easy for them either.

5.00Absolutely wonderful tour! Very helpful to learn about the history of China’s Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Melonie was an excellent guide! She explained things very well, had great English, and helped us take photos. She even helped us find lunch and dinner while we are in Beijing! I would recommend this tour to anyone!
