Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Forbidden City Guided Tour Itinerary: 08:30: Meet your tour guide at the meeting point nearby the Forbidden City. 09:00: Forbidden City guided tour will last 3.5 hours and the sightseeing route includes the most majestic and brilliant ancient buildings. 12:30: The tour will end at the north gate before you can continue to explore the Forbidden City.

5.00My guide Icy was likely the most responsible, empathetic and resourceful guide I have encountered throughout all my travel experiences. I have just lost my passport prior to the tour, she not only managed to help me enter the attraction but even went out of her way to contact the previous attractions that I visited after the tour has ended. And she actually managed to locate my passport! I also see that she has been very proactive in helping other group members with their ticketing issues as well as provide further recommendations after the tour has ended. Beyond all that she is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She was very patient and detailed in her explanation. On top of providing a very in-depth explanation on the history of forbidden city, she also provided more background of other dynasties and modern china as we were walking from point to point and when we were queueing. It was my absolute pleasure meeting Icy and I hope many others will get to experience the tour with her!

She shared a lot of information about the history and culture of the Forbidden City and its inhabitants in a fun and accessible way. 5.00Vanessa gave us an amazingly detailed and entertaining tour of Tian’anmen square, the Forbidden city and palace gardens. It was paced in a way that allowed us to take in all the details and intricate stories surrounding the places, which we would have definitely missed otherwise! Linda also gave us plenty of time to take photos and we were never rushed. She also took photos for us. She is very good at making sure that everyone in the group is present before moving on. Our guide, Vanessa, was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. She explained the rich history and cultural significance of every palace and courtyard with great passion and detail. Her English was excellent, and she made the stories come alive with interesting facts and legends. I appreciated how precise and respectful she was toward the historical context. Everything was perfectly arranged, from the timing to the route. I learned so much and enjoyed every moment. I would highly recommend this tour and Vanessa to anyone visiting Beijing.
