What To Expect
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Forbidden City Guided Tour Itinerary: 08:30: Meet your tour guide at the meeting point nearby the Forbidden City. 09:00: Forbidden City guided tour will last 3.5 hours and the sightseeing route includes the most majestic and brilliant ancient buildings. 12:30: The tour will end at the north gate before you can continue to explore the Forbidden City.
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

5.00Navigating the security lines to Tiananmen was wild. So glad we had a guide to help us fast track through. She was great at providing just the right amount of information, rest time (in the shade), and awareness my mom needed more accommodation than others and was very thoughtful in making sure she didn't feel rushed .
Ping was an excellent guide. The organization of the tour was great, but Ping made all the difference! Incredible tour

3.00I have mixed reviews about this tour. I received a WhatsApp message from the tour operator 24 hours prior advising that no suitcases are possible on the tour, and by then I had already started my flight from Europe and had carry on baggage. If I had known prior, I would have checked it in. I then had to scramble to find baggage storage at Beijing Airport and then rush to make the tour in time. The Tian'anmen Square portion of the tour is a waste as it requires long lines due to security, up to 1 hour and the guide cannot give you any information regarding it and actually told me “you probably know more than me”!
