Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

Forbidden City Guided Tour Itinerary: 08:30: Meet your tour guide at the meeting point nearby the Forbidden City. 09:00: Forbidden City guided tour will last 3.5 hours and the sightseeing route includes the most majestic and brilliant ancient buildings. 12:30: The tour will end at the north gate before you can continue to explore the Forbidden City.

This trip is excellent as it includes both Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city with a tour guide. Our guide Linda was amazing and gave us a comprehensive overview of all of the history that we would have missed out on if we didn’t do the tour.

It is very worthwhile and you pick up much more about the forbidden city with a good English speaking tour guide instead of wandering around yourself. Snow, our guide, had a lot of knowledge and could answer all of our questions.

A special day visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. We were lucky to have the Australian flags on display in the square due to the timing of our Prime Ministers visit. Our tour guide Snow provided detailed information about the significant buildings, events and people of the times. Many great photo opportunities.
