  This is a must tour, the guide was very thorough and friendly, she is a 5 star guide! The tour is well made, you will use the full 3-4 hours to get a sense of the scale and depth. Of course if you want to see the entire place you're best to book on your own without a guide but you won't get the history. I was fortunate that the weather was great, i don't know that it would be enjoyable in the heavy rain or fog. Also keep in mind it takes some time to walk to the entrance, and the trip does involve alot of walking. But what a stellar tour this was.

  Vanessa was an amazing guide. I could not have learned all the information she shared by myself nor through the audio guide. She was very patient—kept giving me directions to join the group when Google took me to find remote place instead of the 1st meeting point.   Great tour thanks to our very informative (and patient) guide Vanessa. Despite the very hot weather, she kept us engaged and made sure we saw everything. The tour lasted a little over four hours, with plenty of breaks along the way to recharge.

  This tour was great! I was worried about which to pick as there are so many for the Forbidden City but this one was worth it! Our guide Lily was so lovely and knowledgeable. Skipped the queues, took a very fluid route, and had just the right amount of information. Lily was very engaging and made an effort to speak to everyone in the group. We ended up on the same bus afterwards and she gave me some travel tips and helped me book tickets for my trip to the Great Wall the next day. 10/10 would recommend Lily as a guide!

  It is very crowded during the summer months and there are items and behaviors you need to follow. It is an amazing piece of history

  Linda is a very skilled guide that managed to reveal the most important part of the Forbidden City and made the whole visit smooth that is not a little thing regarding the size and configuration of the place. At a so crowded and dense place, it was more than necessary to have landmarks, and Linda managed perfectly. Highly recommend!

  Linda was very energetic and guided us through the mammoth complex very sensibly with sensible stops and enough detail to keep you engaged. The only thing is that the best bit for us was the dragon empress’s rooms and her jade sculptures that come at the end and that was very rushed after 4 hours of walking! But would highly recommend.

  Lily was an excellent tour guide. She was very patient, offered to help everyone in the group with maximizing their time in Beijing and achieving their goals with regards to their travels, and answered my questions about life and culture in China very well.
