After its birth in the 1840s, and especially between 1866 and 1890, drovers ran millions of cattle through Fort Worth on to the Red River, winding their way north to the rail heads in Abilene, Kansas via the Chisholm Trail.You will feel like you go back in time and wetness Daily Longhorn Cattle Drives. 5.00There were two short stops on the tour: a brief visit to a water garden and a quick photo opportunity at a JFK memorial. After that, there was about 1.5 hours to explore the Fort Worth Stockyards, which offered a good mix of shops, saloons, and western-themed attractions. The tour leaves exactly on schedule, so be sure to arrive on time. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, providing a rich overview of Texas history and Fort Worth’s unique culture throughout the ride.

5.00I had a great time and learned many cool historical facts about Fort Worth and Dallas. Had enough time at the Stockyards to eat and peruse the shops. Lastly, William was a great guide and super friendly and knowledgeable.
