Before your wine tasting, a private driver and Animal Sanctuary Animal Specialist will shuttle you from the Grapetown Vineyard and Farm Tasting Room via your Brand New Zebra Tram on a behind the scenes tour of your exotic wildlife and ranch operations.
You will see and possibly feed exotic animals like Kangaroos, Camels, Zebras, Alpacas, Bison and Longhorn! We also raise Boer Goats, Ponies, Nigerian Dwarf, African Pygmy and Saanen Dairy Goats, and even some Donkeys.
Please remember to tip your Tour Guide as they truly work very hard and appreciate knowing you enjoyed your tour.

What To Expect
Fredericksburg
A truly unique experience. Head to Fredericksburg Texas for the top rated tour in town! Hosted at Fredericksburg Game Farm (a true hidden gem in Fredericksburg), you will get a behind the scenes look at the operations and interactions of a working farm and animal sanctuary! A driver will shuttle you via tram as you meet and feed Kangaroos and Alpacas, possibly pet a Camel, feed goats, deer and maybe even a Zebra. These animals are part of the family and many have been rescued. You will also enjoy great wines and scenic views, plus beer and even cocktails at Fredericksburg Game Farm after (or even before) your tour. We are a Winery with a Full Bar! Remember, this is a working ranch deep in the Texas Outback. Dress appropriately (no open toed shoes) and apply caution as you enter the property. Drive slowly on property and stay in your vehicle, Loose livestock roam the property. The tour starts at the Tasting Room of Fredericksburg Game Farm.

2.00It was raining so the tram for the safari couldn't run without getting stuck in mud. Parking very muddy. The tasting room is NOT a tasting room for wines made at an onsite winery. The tastings were a collection of cheap wines available at your supermarket for under $10. Some not even produced in the US but definitely not made onsite. There is no winery tour here as suggested. It is only an animal tour with a bar in it where you can taste cheap wines with no actual education on wines or wine tasting. The wine tasting presenter talks about loving wine a lot and mentions a couple of grape variants in the Italian wine brand but really offers no real expertise. It's a tourist trap pretending to be a winery. Watch out. It's pretty low-end on atmosphere. Not a nice establishment or a romantic site for dates. It's not authentic.
