Plaza de la Conchita
Plaza de la Conchita, nestled in the heart of Coyoacán, encapsulates a serene ambiance that resonates with the essence of Frida Kahlo's life and artistry. This charming square, adorned with a picturesque church and shaded by ancient trees, holds a special connection to Kahlo—a place where she attended mass, strolled its cobblestone pathways, and found inspiration amidst its tranquil setting.
Parque Frida Kalho
Within the serene landscape of Parque Frida Kahlo in Coyoacán, majestic ahuehuete trees stand as silent witnesses to the intertwined lives of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. These ancient and towering trees, known for their longevity and symbolic significance in Mexican culture, provide a tranquil canopy over the park, casting dappled shadows upon the sculptures and pathways below. Revered for their resilience and representation of life's endurance, the ahuehuetes create an ethereal atmosphere, offering a natural backdrop to the artistic tributes while subtly echoing the strength and fortitude embodied by Kahlo and Rivera throughout their tumultuous lives.

Our tour guide, Jordan, was amazing. He wove the stories of Frida’s life artfully as we toured the area and enjoyed food along the way. The 3.5 hours seemed to fly by and we all left with a much richer understanding of her life and Mexican culture.

I will never use Viator again. Bought tickets in advance to Frida Kalo payment went through received confirmation right before we were leaving for the trip. Received a message that my reservation was canceled as the time we reserved was not available anymore. Went to try to buy again, tickets were sold out however I was able to purchase tickets close to the same timeframe as before, however had to pay more as it was with a tour that we were not interested in got confirmation for that paid for it. Three hours before our time spot received another email stating that it was canceled. Finally got on the phone and spoke to somebody who after 45 minutes was able to get us reservations when we arrived at the Frida Kalo house they only sent me five tickets instead of six so one of our guest was unable to go in. Avoid using Vita at all expense.

Meg from El Taco Club was the BEST guide we’ve ever had anywhere. The three hours went too quick with so much knowledge, great snacks at a tostada and quesadilla place plus the most amazing churros. Definitely ask for Meg.

This was a first rate experience. Coco was a fun, knowledgeable person. I learned a lot about Frida and her life before we got to the house/museum. The snacks were just right. I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it
