  This was an amazing experience. While it was a long drive from ubud it was worth it. The driver who picked me up was very friendly and ensured I knew the plan. Made sure myself and the group made it on the correct ferry, after being picked up and taken to a medical clinic for a quick exam we received a warm welcome and wonderful food at good karma. The guide for the hike was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience.

  Our group had a really great trip up Ljen with the team. The entire trip was well organized, the staff was prompt, the food was amazing, and the guides were awesome. This group takes safety seriously and provide all of the needed equipment to go in the sulfur area, and instruction on how and when to use everything. They even have jackets hats and gloves available to borrow if you do not have your own. This allowed us to safely go where many other tour groups do not. The accommodations and food were much better than I expected, and everyone on the team was fantastic. The transport from areas near Denpasar is very long, but that is unavoidable. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in Ljen.

  An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. They had everything planned out, so we were just directed where to go. At the accomodation it was a gorgeous mix of feeling like home, while also embracing Indonesia cultures. The food was absolutely incredible, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavours, the hosts were so generous with their time, knowledge and their space. Beautiful accomodation. At the base camp for the Volcano, we had a wonderful guide, Por, who is everything knowledgeable, friendly and comforting. He knows the layout of the mountain and was able to direct us to the best areas, and help me and my partner travel safely down into the volcano to see magical blue fire and the wonderful acid lake. Another then beautiful breakfast, a chance to shower in the accomodation, and then a ride back to the ferry and back to Bali. Wonderful hosts, incredible journey. We would recommend anyone to do this tour, and we would happily use this company for any future tours. One tip I would recommend for travellers is to bring grippy hiking shoes, as it can be slippery. And it is colder than expected for warm Indonesia weather on the top of the volcano - dress in warm layers as it suggests. The accomodation also allowed us to leave unnecessary items in the room while we were hiking, which meant that we could have more things for comfort, and then take only essentials on the hike. 10,000/10!!

  I loved the experience. The care was perfect. All the staff are very attentive. The transport was comfortable. It is very nice to have no worries and to be able to focus only on the essentials: climbing. Ijen volcano is amazing. Having the chance to go to a crater is truly a unique experience. I recommend this agency with my eyes closed. If I could have had more time I would have done other activities with them.

  I recently joined IndoTravel’s tour to the Ijen Blue Flame and it was absolutely incredible. From start to finish everything was well-organized — the booking process was easy, the transport was comfortable, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Seeing the blue flames up close was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The guide made sure we were safe, explained the science and history behind the phenomenon, and even helped us get the best photos.   Organisation top! Careful team. Just avoid the ascent from Saturday night to Sunday, it is very busy. Despite this, change of scenery guaranteed! From start to finish everything is managed so that everyone can have fun. Guides are kind and do everything to make you feel safe. They are also extra photographers 😊.L the whole Pierrick team of which Pierrick bring you all the information necessary for this journey. The accommodation was well above our expectations. The meals are homemade and are delicious. Our regret is that we did not take the extra excursion to Bromo. The lack of time ... we also enjoyed not being a group of more than 12 people it made us experience even more human. Thank you to the whole team.   From a weather perspective, everything that could have gone wrong probably went wrong. It was really foggy/rainy throughout the hike, significantly impacting visibility and comfort. And the sulfur fumes themselves were really strong, adding another layer of discomfort. But despite these challenges, I have to give the tour a 5/5. The service was really great all throughout, the host family we stayed with was so welcoming and warm - with a great room, and simply incredible local dinner/breakfast. And the guides and hike were well-organized, and took care of us despite challenging conditions. And even in the tough weather, the tour was really memorable - a very cool hike nonetheless. highly recommend.

  I think it was the best experience in my life so far. Indotravel team has organized everything perfectly, they have also organized a special pick up for us in Bali. When we arrived in the evening, the local family has prepared a very good dinner for our group of 10 people and then Pierrick has explained us everything about the following ascent and descent of the volcano Kawah Ijen. Then at 1 am we went to the volcano and met our 2 guides which have been extremely nice and careful during the descent to the blue flames in order to prevent any danger. They have perfectly calculated times to see the blue flames on time and before all the crowd will be down and in order to see sunrise from the best viewpoint where they took us many beautiful photos. During this experience you will see also minors which bring 70/80 kg of sulfur stones on their shoulder, please be respectful and let them always go ahed easily. It was touchy to hear about their stories. After the sunrise we came back to the local family to have breakfast which was better than a 5 star hotel. Around 9.30 am we start coming back to Bali. I really recommend Indotravel team, they are extremely professional and this experience was incredibile not only because of the volcano but mostly for the kindness of people, guides and team.
