This tour was an amazing experience! We started in Basel and traveled to Thun, where we had time to explore the charming old town and enjoy the beautiful views. One of the highlights was visiting the Beatus Caves—truly impressive, with stunning rock formations and waterfalls inside. We then enjoyed a relaxing cruise on Lake Thun, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery. The tour was very well organized, with a great balance between guided explanations and picture time. We also learned about Swiss cheese, which was a lovely cultural touch to the day. It was a full but very enjoyable day, and everything was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Switzerland!

It was my first time in a cave, and it went beyond my expectations! The way up was quite steep, but our guide took it easy, making pauses that helped the climb feel much more manageable. We spent about an hour inside the cave, the signs and paths were well-lit, and the rock formations looked like something out of an adventure movie. The Lake of Thun and the town are absolutely gorgeous, and the cheese tasting at the end felt like a reward for the workout. We enjoyed it immensely, it was worth every penny!

We had a wonderful day as a family! The tour was full of dreamy landscapes, waterfalls, caves, and cheese! We couldn’t believe we were able to do so many things without feeling rushed or exhausted. Our guide had everything perfectly organized, and we felt very well taken care of. She was also very patient with my toddler. Highly recommend it!

This tour from Basel to Thun was absolutely fantastic. The scenic route to Thun set the tone, with stunning views all the way. Exploring the beautiful Beatus Caves was both fascinating and unique. The highlight for me was the relaxing cruise on Lake Thun — the alpine backdrop was breathtaking. Ending the day with a taste of authentic Swiss cheese made it all the more memorable. Well-organized, informative, and visually stunning — highly recommended!

After doing the Basel City Tour, we had an extra day in Switzerland and decided to join this trip — such a great choice! Thun was picture-perfect, the Beatus Caves were fascinating, and the boat ride on Lake Thun felt like something out of a postcard. We also really enjoyed the cheese tasting, which made the day feel extra authentic. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to understand without ever feeling rushed. For what’s included and the personal touch, the tour felt like excellent value. Highly recommend if you want to see more of Switzerland in just one day!

We had a wonderful day on this tour from Basel! The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting details along the way. Thun was beautiful and the lake cruise was so relaxing. Cheese stop was a perfect finish. Highly recommended!

We wanted to try something different during our stay in Basel and this tour turned out to be a great choice. Beatus Caves were really interesting to walk through, and it was surprisingly cool inside, which felt nice on a warm day. The boat ride on Lake Thun was relaxing with beautiful views along the way. Cheese tasting at the end was a highlight — the selection was delicious, and we got to try a few types we hadn’t had before. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable day out.

This tour was perfect and beyond expectations from beginning to end! Our guide Julianna was a gem! She met us right on time, explained our day and anything else we wanted to know and got us on our way. Julianna guided us perfectly as we made our way to the trains an on into Thun! There was a mechanical issue with the train after a few stops and Julianna did not miss a beat and got us off and on to another train right next to us that got us to Thun. Once in Thun Julianna gave us a great tour and kept the pace easy as we were with my 79 year old mother. We then boarded the ship for an amazing once in a lifetime lunch around Lake Thun. We then were guided to a bus to head to the caves. Julianna was proactive letting us know that we may not want our mom to go to the caves which was ideal as it is a VERY steep incline to get to the caves followed by a 926 meter hike with stairs and narrow trails inside the caves. She made sure to make sure my mom was set while we went to hike. The caves are awesome but a workout! After the caves we were directed to another bus where we got to Interlocken for a cheese and chocolate tasting. Both were amazing and special. Julianna then guided us all the way back to our hotel! Total time 12 hours and was worth every minute for the memories! Julianna and the tour are fantastic and worth it!
