Me and my family were supposed to go on this tour back in October of 2025. Our tour was cancelled the day before by the company and we have still yet to recieve a refund as of December 2025 despite numerous attempts to contact and multiple e-mails being ignored. Please be advised of this if you plan on booking with this company.

The weather brightened as our tour progressed; Richard (the wildling), our tour guide had said this would probably be the case and, like everything else, he was correct. As others have said, we were lucky to have him on our tour., every stop was described in its context with personal anecdotes from his time as an extra on the show. ‘What is dead may never die’ etc etc. We don’t normally dress up on these sort of tours but the camaraderie is such that we got carried away with the whole thing. And there are photos! Being in a minibus was also a big plus because we did come across larger buses disgorging lots of tourists but Richard, and the tour, minimised this as much as possible by the early start and our route. Lunch was OK but, be aware, if mass catering style fast food isn’t your thing consider a packed lunch, the pub is fine with you sitting out the back to eat it. I’m not saying that lunch was bad, it wasn’t, it was fine but if your partner is a fusspot… my wife is and she found something on the menu to eat so don’t worry too much about this. Other people, however, may not be as fortunate as me… haha. After lunch there were more locations and the Giant’s Causeway where Richard imparted a bit of local knowledge to make our visit more enjoyable. Was it just us or is the Giant’s Causeway smaller than you thought it would be? Impressive certainly but… The last stop was the King’s Highway where, as we were in a smaller vehicle, we got closer than anybody thought we would. And Richard had more costumes to put on. Then he got out the special swords! ‘Is that the Needle?’ my wife asked. ‘The needle?’ ‘Arya Stark’s sword… it was crafted by Mikkem the blacksmith of Winterfell, remember?’ ‘Ummm… ‘ She’d remembered though and, again, we have the photos to prove it.

Must do trip, both from game of thrones fan perspective but also visits beautiful spots with a great tour guide if your not much into the show - they were picked for filming for a reason I guess! The trip was on a mini bus (assuming it always is) which was great as it meant you can get to places that the coach tours can’t, it also sets off early which is as a great bonus to hit the spots at quiet times. We had Richard on this tour and he was a great tour guide, full of interesting chat about both game of thrones and Northern Ireland and was really inclusive with everyone on the tour, think that was another plus of the smaller group. There were bus technical issues on our trip, which happens, richard and the driver sorted out a plan quickly to continue our tour with little disruption - we just had a short unplanned walk along the stunning Northern Ireland coast to the next stops, which actually added to the experience for us. Great pub lunch spot too! Loved it!

What an incredible experience! Our 12-day trip to Ireland was unforgettable, and the highlights were definitely our Iron Islands & Giant's Causeway tour with Andrew! We traveled along the stunning Northern Ireland coast, visiting iconic locations like the steps in Carnlough, Cushendun Caves, the Iron Islands & Dragonstone beach, Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the Dark Hedges. The Iron Islands costumes are like movie standard, as I recall the women who made them makes movie costumes and it shows in the leather and stitching. My husband loved it more than me so we had a fantastic time, thanks guys!

They canceled very last minute after we paid to stay in Belfast longer for the tour. Be advised they can and will cancel and do not have other guides to cover this. Do not plan around this tour.
