Ahopsan Forest
Ahopsan Forest is a privately owned bamboo forest located in Busan, South Korea. It has been preserved for over 400 years and offers visitors a peaceful and mystical experience with its dense bamboo groves, towering cedar trees, and winding forest paths. The name Ahopsan means "Nine Mountains" and reflects the forest's harmonious setting among the surrounding peaks. This forest is famous for its appearance in many Korean dramas and films, including “The King: Eternal Monarch” and “Kundo: Age of the Rampant.” ⚠️ Ahopsan Bamboo Forest: Admission is not included. Guests may relax at a nearby café instead.
Bulguksa Temple
Explore Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece that represents the spiritual and architectural pinnacle of the Silla Dynasty. Marvel at the harmonious Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas, and find peace while wandering through its serene halls and sacred stone bridges.

5.00Great day tour of Gyeongju from Busan. The guide Hans was quite new to the job having only started guiding a few weeks ago but he was excellent - very informative and approachable and friendly. It was quite a long day but well worth it as there is a lot of sites to see and appreciate in Gyeongju and nearby which would be difficult to do on your own.

3.00Was very rushed, so many things to see in so little time. Didn’t get the feel of the beautiful places. Also could use more background information from the tour guide. Was looking forward to the Bamboo Forest and Donggung Palace which we didn’t get to see, a little disappointed at the end of the day.

5.00I dont usually go on such tours and plan daytrips on my own, but Gyeongju would be really inconvenient to do by public transport (probably even impossible in one day without too much stress). This tour was great, Hans was very friendly and we had some free time at all stops. Just beware that if you take the tour from Busan station you will be picked up first and dropped off last and this was over 12 hours total. Not really their fault but it can be long for some.

5.00The tour guide was available in English and Chinese, but he also spoke Japanese well, which was very nice for us Japanese. They were very enthusiastic about the explanations of each place, and everyone listened with interest. I was always pleasant with a cheerful expression and behavior.
