Have the opportunity to visit the only fresh water natural lake in the island of Crete, and relax by having a coffee break in a local taverna. Admire the beauty of nature by riding a pedalo and for the brave ones by swimming into the lake with the ducks and the turtles. Next is the olive oil factory and a detail tour and local products tasting. Finally the main destination the winery in the courtyard, with the botanical garden and experience first hand the production and the storage area of the wines, learn all the secrets of production and bottling. Then it's wine tasting time where you will have the chance to try 5 local wines (and lunch if you like).

5.00Our experience was made better with our guide Matt. He went extra with his freindlyness and knowledge of the area. I would recommend Matt and this excursion. At the end, Matt even got us a traditional coffee to cap off our outing.

5.00We can not say enough about this day . Angie was the absolute best. She was an amazing host , extremely knowledgeable about Crete, warm, funny and really showed us a fabulous time . The lake is beautiful. We loved tasting and touring the Kanakis olive oil mill as well as visiting enjoying a fabulous lunch and wine tasting at the DOURAKIS winery. Number 10 day

5.00I'll begin by saying that for anyone who goes to Chania this is a must see tour. The tour is both informative, interesting and relaxing. Our tour guide Angie was as great a tour guide as you can ask for. Besids being a native Cretian with all the knowledge and facts one could ask for, she's fun, entertaining and after a few minutes with her she becomes "family." This was 1 of the best tours we've taken. Do not miss it.

5.00This trip was one of the best days of our holiday. We did the trip to Kournas Lake followed by the olive oil factory and then onto the wine tasting experience. Angie (our guide) was absolutely fantastic, she offered to pick us up from our accommodation which was a big help and dropped us back. There were towels, snacks and water provided for us, by Angie. Throughout the day Angie recommended so many different places for us to visit throughout our holiday, she then followed this up with a WhatsApp message that evening. The information she provided was so helpful and she went above and beyond our expectations. If you are thinking about doing this trip on your holiday, our advice is definitely book it, you won’t be disappointed
10/10 would recommend!!

5.00Angie is amazing! She was so accommodating and flexible, and she has so much knowledge about the island of Crete and all its beauty. The lake she took us to was incredible and with her we got to avoid the hassle of parking and walking. The olive oil factory was awesome but the winery was my favorite. This is a great experience for your visit to Crete- highly recommend!
