Hello, everyone! Welcome to our Benagil Treasure Hiking Experience.

Pets are Welcome !!!! I make a few stops along the way to take some fantastic photos!

Let's walk over the cliffs of Praia da Marinha, included in the Michelin guide: 24 million years old where you can find the beautiful photo of the Titanic, the heart and the bridge - 1st Treasure.

After that we will visit the top of the Benagil Cave a 16 million years old cave. From the top you can see the interior of the cave bath by the sea. 2nd Treasure.

The 3rd Treasure includes a visit to Algarseco. There you can visit the Boneca Cave and its recesses carved out by seawater, located on the trail of the seven hanging valley.

For some timeout let's visit Praia da Senhora da Rocha and Nova Beach. The 4th Treasure. There you can visit a 16th century small chapel built on top of a cliff and a tunnel connecting the two beaches through the rock. If the weather and the sea permits you can swim, relax and/or walk along the cliffs.

Snorkelling will only take place if sea conditions are favourable/safe for this activity.

8h20: We meet in front of Faro Train Station - Largo de Santo Amaro Faro. We departure on the van and head towards Benagil at 8h30. Please don't be late.

Clare was a brilliant guide. Super welcoming and attentive, she has a wealth of knowledges about the areas we visited, from geographical to wildlife phenomena. She also had beach and snorkelling equipment available to use which was a nice touch. For me I was hoping for a bit more of strenuous hike/ more walking but appreciate this was maybe aimed at being more inclusive of a range of abilities. I would say for a young person (I am 26g with average fitness levels this is probably quite an easy trip. We covered just less than 6k of walking and 150m of elevation gain (mostly via steps back up from caves/ coast). The sites we visited were all for hours and it was very quiet, I assume with it being slightly off season though it was still around 20 degrees for us which was perfect :)

Our guide Claire was super friendly, easy-going, and shared lots of interesting information about the coast and nature. The hike along the Seven Hanging Valleys was absolutely stunning, and visiting the Praia da Marinha was a real highlight. Everything was well organized and very relaxed – highly recommended!

It was great experience! All trip is perfectly organized .We have seen a lot of beautiful places walking and hiking,but it was not hard .Just take a correct boots and clothes for it ,A hat as well.And we had also time for to stay on the stunning beaches where if you want,you can swim.Umbrellas is provided by guide .Our guide Claire is an amazing person.She answered all our questions.And she was helping to make photos .Thank you,Claire! I rate this trip highly! Recommend !

We can highly recommend the trip! The variety of landscape, nature, water and wind violence as well as peace, relaxation or swimming in the sea during the beach stays is super distributed. And Claire as a guide is very good! She knows a lot about the region, explains a lot and it never gets boring. On the contrary, actually the trip could go on even longer;-)

Our guide, Claire, set the tone for the day from the pick up with her friendly, relaxed attitude. The coast walk was beautiful and as well as pointing out the geological features of the coastline, Claire also took the opportunity along the way to give us information about the local wildlife and plants. We stopped at two beaches, the first for a refreshment break and the second for lunch and, for those interested, swimming and snorkeling. When the time came to head back to Faro, it's fair to say the group were pretty chilled out and happy with the tour.

Stunning scenery, pristine beach at the end of the trip. Hiking was slightly challenging at times as the terrain is a bit rocky, but not insurmountable with a good partner. Claire, our travel guide was most helpful. Unforgettable day, fun all through.
