5.00A fabulous treat booked for a birthday surprise ,Emma was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of Beverley ,her enthusiastic delivery had us hanging on every detail , I learned so much about my home town. The choice of foods we were treated to were lovely and it was good to use local suppliers and businesses, I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone interested in history and loves good food and drink.

5.00Amazing food and heritage tour with Beverley Bites This was one of the best tours I have ever done: -fascinating to learn so much about the people - including so many influential women, the artisans & guilds & so much of what makes beautiful Beverley the lovely place it is today. - lovely to meet the market Toby & learn how the historic market charter is used today - so many delicious food stops from independent traders, especially loved the cheese 🧀 & gelato 🍦 stops! Thanks so much Emma for all the research and planning, for sharing your passion for history, heritage and amazing food & for being so welcoming, friendly and being so kind with my sister's preference at the start - very thoughtful and considerate of you! I would 100% recommend this tour!!

5.00I'd never been to Beverley and I had heard that it is a lovely place and I also heard about Emma's food and history tour. After a hugely enjoyable 4 hours, we were both well fed and satisfied (if a little damp due to the Nov weather) as well as feeling like we had got to know the town. Emma certainly knows her history and the stories were fascinating. The food was well spaced and I shall always remember the Steak Pie fondly! A great way to experience this delightful town and we will be back again in the summer! Highy recommend.

5.00We went with a group of friends on Beverley Bites walking and tasting tour this weekend. It was an all round great experience. Emma is just so knowledgeable, entertaining and it was obvious that a great deal of effort went into a very informative guide to historic Beverley. The food and drinks choices were also delicious. Would highly recommend. Thanks Emma x

5.00Just had a most enjoyable day out with Beverley Bites. Emma’s knowledge of the architecture & history of Beverley is amazing. We visited some great artisan food places & even though I’ve been to Beverley 100s of times they were all new to me! Tasted a variety of food & drink & spent 4 enjoyable & informative hours in the company of some lovely people. Thank you Emma.

5.00We had a great time. It was just perfect. The pace of the tour, the food, the history and using local businesses for food and drink is something every town should have, organised by Emma. The food was delicious and varied especially knowing that you could box it up and take it home if you were too full to finish it. The meat pie and gravy was the best we've ever had. Sampling food from the market stalls was such a treat and to think that this way of selling has been held on the same piece of land since medieval times, in the shadow of a market cross. The two pubs were steeped in history, one of which is still lit by gas lamps. The vegan meal was so delicious and again in another old building with a varied history. Locally made chocolate to finish off with and a story of intrigue about the building. The Beverley Bites tour will be ideal for any visitors we have to stay, and a good excuse to enjoy it all again
