Auschwitz-Birkenau is a terrible but also terribly educational place. Take DutchPoint Kraków with a Dutch Guide to the camp where more than 1.2 million people were killed, including about 60,000 Dutch and 24,000 Belgians. During this excursion (6 hours excl. travel time) with a Dutch Guide we walk through Museum Auschwitz I and also see the impressive Dutch barracks - Flemish guests see the Belgian ones - and walk through a gas chamber. After a break we go to the huge Birkenau. There we visit barracks - which give a good idea of the living conditions - and the remains of gas chambers II and III. We end the excursion at the monument of Monowitz (Auschwitz III). It is possible to visit the bookstores along the way and there are 5 sanitary stops.

After a short break, we’ll take the bus to the Judenrampe, the spot between Auschwitz I and Birkenau where trains arrived, and people were selected. From there, we walk the same route as those who were taken to Birkenau. At Birkenau, we’ll visit the wooden barracks that give a clear view of the living conditions during the war years. We’ll walk past the train station toward the remains of gas chambers II and III. Afterward, we’ll visit the Dutch monument. Then, we’ll return to the gate and make a brief stop at the bookstore. 30 minutes - transfer from Auschwitz I to Birkenau and break 90 minutes - visit to Auschwitz II-Birkenau 30 minutes - visit to the Judenrampe

Our Guide Wesley guided us wonderfully for two days. First in the city of Krakow and then a day to Auschwitz. In a very relaxed, but educational way, he took us and the group along the blackest side of our recent history. But also to learn from the past for our future. An unforgettable journey!

An impactful experience thanks in part to the relevant and respectful way in which our guide guided this tour. All practical matters such as transport, coffee breaks and access with good audio are also top arranged. Definitely recommended for young and old.

Impressive tour, very intense. I'm quiet about it. Very nice guide. A Dutch guide who knows a lot about history. He explained everything very nicely. The tour also goes to the third camp, which is often forgotten on other tours.

Everything was excellently arranged. To hear the stories in Dutch has a little extra for us. Everything's coming in pretty good. It is told with great respect. Wesley has a lot of knowledge and can convey this in a good way to the people who participated in the excursion. Our compliments!

Wesley did our tour and he really did it very extensively and respectfully... Special and impressive visit to Auschwitz... Definitely recommended ... many guides are English speaking Polish and therefore hard to understand. Wesley gave extensive info and no waiting time for the entrance

An impressive and gripping experience in Krakow, Auschwitz and Birkenau. Our guide was truly outstanding – extremely knowledgeable, calm and could explain everything in a clear and respectful way. Thanks to his extensive knowledge and clear explanations, we not only gained factual information, but also more insight into the stories behind the places. A confrontational but very valuable excursion. Definitely recommended.

Extremely imposing experience , this makes you quiet for a while when you see what has happened there , resulting in such cruelty and incredible suffering . That should never be forgotten and hopefully never happen again , although you can see that humanity has not really learned at the moment . Wesley our guide is someone who will guide you through Auschwitz and Birkenau in the right tone, with a lot of knowledge, stories and backgrounds but above all with respect. Although our guide has done these tours many times you can see it still grips him , thank Wesley for this impressive day .
