La Paz to Uyuni Meet at the terminal bus in La Paz at 20:30 pm for registration. Depart on the bus to Uyuni at 21:00. Enjoy breakfast, a bottle of water, a hot drink, heating, toilets, a polar blanket, Wi-Fi, and a first aid kit on board.

Uyuni

Arrive in Uyuni at 7:30 a.m. and enjoy free time to purchase snacks and water. Later, meet your guide at the office and begin the tour at 10:30 a.m. with a visit to the Salar de Uyuni. Start at the Train Cemetery, an iconic and photogenic site on the outskirts of town. Continue to Colchani, where you’ll see local handicrafts made from salt and textiles crafted from llama and alpaca wool. Explore the vast salt flats, visit the Ojos de Agua Salada, and stop at a salt hotel now functioning as a museum-restaurant. Enjoy lunch along the route before heading to Incahuasi Island, where you’ll hike among giant cacti and fossil-like rock formations (subject to weather conditions). Take creative perspective photos on the salt flats, then relax while watching a stunning sunset with a glass of wine. Return to Uyuni between 19:15 and 19:45. Head to the bus office at 20:30 for your 21:00 departure to La Paz.
