Our 5-day tour of Oman with Yaqoob Alhabi was absolutely outstanding, thanks entirely to his expertise. As a driver, he was exceptionally safe and professional, making every journey comfortable, especially on mountain and desert roads. As a guide, his deep knowledge of Omani culture and history brought every location to life, far exceeding our expectations for a typical tour. Yaqoob's warm, engaging personality and attentive service made him the perfect ambassador for Oman, and we highly recommend him to anyone visiting the region.

I visited Oman for a short period of only 5 days in March 2025. I booked daily tours from Muscat with GidOman to some attractions in Oman, including city tour in Muscat, amazing Wadi Bani Khalid swiming in warm waters, stunning sunset in the desert, visiting historic city of Nizwa, views of the green terraces in Jebel Akhdar, Bimmah Sinkhole and the highlight of my trip in Wadi Shab with a beautiful canyon and natural crystal pools. For the grand finale I took a boat trip to the Daymaniyat Islands, I could not imagine this paradise near Muscat, I have never seen so many turtles in my life! Communication with GidOman was smooth, every day I received a message with the pick-up times from the hotel and also the contact details of the guide. On each day tour I had a different guide - Jamal, Mohammed, Qais, Mazin, Roman, they were all extremely polite, helpful and very knowledgeable about Omani culture. Despite the Ramadan period, the guides always made an effort to find places to buy food for lunch, as most restaurants are closed during this period. Transfers from the airport to the hotel were also arranged by GidOman. Oman is an incredible country, with nature, history, culture and extremely welcoming people. I really recommend Gidoman to discover the wonders of Oman!

The wadis, desert and mountains private tour was very well organized by GidOman. All the activities were booked as we had requested (we changed the tour slightly with two nights in the desert and two nights in the mountains). GidOman was always easy to reach via WhatsApp and responded quickly to questions and concerns. At the Turtle Reserve, we even got an upgrade to the Turtle Beach Resort instead of Sama Ras Al Jinz. We are very satisfied with GidOman and can recommend them without reservation. Every pick up by GidOman was always on time. My sister and I have celiac disease, which means that we have to eat gluten-free. This condition is not well known in Oman, but together with Aziz (our guide) we found a large selection of gluten-free bread in an organic supermarket in Muscat (Al fair) and GidOman also took care of it. The heart of our trip was our guide Aziz. We always felt very comfortable and safe with him and he really enriched the trip with his pleasant and funny demeanor. He knows the best photo spots and knows exactly when it's best to be at which activity. This allowed us to relax and unwind. Aziz was always on time, always friendly, and always well prepared for the activities (water, flashlight, waterproof cell phone case,...). He answered a lot of questions about Omani culture. Our impression is also that we were accompanied by an Omani, so we were even closer to the Omani culture. We were able to gain a lot of insights into this great country! The car was very well equipped, very comfortable and was up to all requirements from desert to mountains. Thank you very much for this great vacation!

Ilyas stands head and shoulders above any other guide I have ever had in my 40 years global travel. His high level of expertise cannot be overstated. Ilyas fills the tour days and nights with local anecdotal information not written about in books. At the same time, he listens keenly to the responses and tailors the activities, timings and trip details according to the needs and preferences of his clients. He showed me hidden gems and shared information that I am sure other guides are not aware of or not inclined to go the extra mile to share. I am so grateful for his outstanding connections, love of seafood, and genuine heartfelt love and pride of his countrymen. I look forward to staying in touch with him and all the other fantastic people I met in Oman

We looked in Oman as much as we could see in 8 days and of course thanks to GidOman . Excursions (except for the sea) were held on the Toyota 4x4 car, no matter how tired we were for the whole day, getting into a clean car and moving on, we felt at home. None of our requests were ignored, we did not have time to buy local spices, so our guide brought them to the hotel the day before departure and simply presented them. All excursions are full of information about the country and local beauties, the guide brought us to such beautiful viewpoints where we didn’t meet anyone else, I think that no one really takes them there, this is his personal initiative to show everything possible and impossible in such a short time to give the maximum idea of the beauties of Oman. . Impressions go off scale, so if you decide to get to know the country better and want to travel around the country and enjoy the trip, we advise you to use the services of this travel company, you will return home full of the best memories and the greatest satisfaction from the trip.
