On our way to Snæfellsnes, we'll pass through the charming town of Borgarnes, nestled on a scenic fjord and rich in Viking history. Known for its ties to Egill’s Saga and the poet-warrior Egill Skallagrímsson, it offers beautiful views and a unique cultural backdrop. We'll make a quick coffee stop here before continuing our adventure on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.

5.00My friend and I took took this all day excursion on my birthday. It was fantastic! Our guide was wonderful and had the best music taste! We were comfortable in the bus and got to relax inbtween stops. It was wonderful to see parts of Iceland we hadn't seen before.

5.00The tour was amazing and kept on unfolding as we moved on from one landscape to the other, with our amazing and informative Ronin - almost feeling the the wind below our bus but Ronin kept us focused entertained with the saga of the north and the Vikings ♥️which I wanted to hear more before our next scheduled stop🌻

2.00The trip was long. However, one of the attractions, Ingjaldshólskirkja, was not visited. The vehicle traveled along the Útnesvegur road but did not stop at the Ingjaldshólskirkja Church. This was incorrect, as the Ingjaldshólskirkja Church was clearly listed as a visit on the itinerary. Two female tourists of the group questioned the driver (who also acted as a guide) on arrival of Kirkjufell Mountain (following stop after Ingjaldshólskirkja Church), but he did not provide a reasonable explanation. TripAdvisor lists about a dozen tours to Snaefellsnes, and I chose this tour as seeing that the Ingjaldshólskirkja Church was clearly listed and accompanied by photos. I believe that travel agencies should adhere to the agreed-upon itinerary; any changes should be based on reasonable grounds and clearly explained to the tourists. I do believe that "Your Day Tours" should give us an explanation. Communication between travel agencies and tourists is crucial, as is mutual respect. Therefore, I cannot rate more than 2 stars.

5.00This review is specifically to praise our tour guide, Nils. He demonstrated every quality that elevates and enhances the experience on a tour. His hospitality and communication were top-notch. He frequently engaged with guests through quizzes and jokes, and even prepared some traditional snacks as souvenirs for the group, which was a wonderful touch. He also handled late or slow guests with patience and professionalism, never creating uncomfortable moments. At the start of every segment, he clearly briefed us about the next stop. Throughout the journey, he shared background information and interesting facts at the right moments, and he consistently reminded us of things to look out for and gave helpful recommendations at each sightseeing spot. We enjoyed the day tour immensely because of him.

3.00The tour and guide very well. The but... two wheels came out of the minibus flying and had to bring another one from Reykjavik, which caused us to lose 1h10' of route and, especially, of light. The minivam they brought in had the door broken and it was taped together. Unfortunately the condition of the vehicles, you could have suffered a serious accident when you lost both rear wheels while driving, good thing we were not going at very high speed.

5.00My family and I had a great time on this tour. Pickup from the hotel was convenient and timely. The driver was talkative for the first part of the trip, but was quiet on the way back. Plenty of opportunities to use a restroom. I would have appreciated more information about the stops. But overall it was a fun experience.
