This review is specifically to praise our tour guide, Nils. He demonstrated every quality that elevates and enhances the experience on a tour. His hospitality and communication were top-notch. He frequently engaged with guests through quizzes and jokes, and even prepared some traditional snacks as souvenirs for the group, which was a wonderful touch. He also handled late or slow guests with patience and professionalism, never creating uncomfortable moments. At the start of every segment, he clearly briefed us about the next stop. Throughout the journey, he shared background information and interesting facts at the right moments, and he consistently reminded us of things to look out for and gave helpful recommendations at each sightseeing spot. We enjoyed the day tour immensely because of him.

The tour and guide very well. The but... two wheels came out of the minibus flying and had to bring another one from Reykjavik, which caused us to lose 1h10' of route and, especially, of light. The minivam they brought in had the door broken and it was taped together. Unfortunately the condition of the vehicles, you could have suffered a serious accident when you lost both rear wheels while driving, good thing we were not going at very high speed.

Friendly tour guide explained background on each spots together making jokes on the way. Sufficient time allowed to stay in each spots, good enough to take photo and moment to feel the atmosphere around.

My family and I had a great time on this tour. Pickup from the hotel was convenient and timely. The driver was talkative for the first part of the trip, but was quiet on the way back. Plenty of opportunities to use a restroom. I would have appreciated more information about the stops. But overall it was a fun experience.

Our tours in Iceland were amazing. The tour guides were helpful and considerate. Historical information was provided as we drove. Restroom, snack, and meal breaks were provided with adequate time. We were given great opportunities to view the scenery, walk around, and take pictures. Our small group tour was comfortable in our van which was climate controlled. Having this opportunity to see the sites of Iceland outside of the capital was phenomenal. I would recommend this tour to family and friends!

We took the tour of the Snaefellsnes peninsula yesterday through Your Day Tours. Confession: I had originally booked a similar tour with another company, but they cancelled a couple of days before our booking. I found this tour through Guide to Iceland. Anyway, both my husband and I found the tour to be fantastic! Special kudos to our guide and driver, Ivana! She provided a great mix of history, geology, and storytelling. She brought us to some of the most incredible places I’ve seen! We really lucked out that the weather cleared up a bit for our ride around the peninsula, which let us see more than we otherwise would have, Also, it was a smaller bus, so it was a smaller group, and we could all get our individual questions answered. Phenomenal experience! Would definitely book with Your Day again.
