Enjoy the benefits of a day beginning with physical activity and experience a picturesque hike on the famous Great Ķemeri Bog boardwalk upon arrival at the National Park.
After the inspiring morning improv-hike in Kemeri boglands, you will visit the amazing Kanieris Lake and one of its bird watching towers. This big shallow lake is an amazing former lagoon of the prehistoric Littorina Sea. It is very close to the Gulf Of Riga. Kanieris Lake is an important stop-over place for migratory birds. Nature trails along the banks of this lake go through various unique protected ecosystems (habitats) and can be a great place for you to spot wildlife.
Now it is time to have a glimpse of the unique wet forests of Ķemeri National Park and their natural values including the famous Sulphur springs.
Before heading back to Riga you will enjoy the fresh air of the stunning sandy beach and coastal pine forests of the Gulf of Riga.

5.00We had an amazing experience exploring Kemeri National Park. Our guide, Rolands, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting information about the different ecosystems we visited. We also had enjoyable conversations about Latvia and life in general. The scenery in the park was beautiful, especially the bog area, which had a unique, almost otherworldly atmosphere. We were able to see all three types of wetlands as well as the Baltic Sea shoreline. The picnic lunch that Rolands prepared was delicious and included a nice selection of local food and drinks. Overall, I highly recommend the “Best of Kemeri National Park in One Day” tour to anyone interested in nature and learning more about Latvia.

5.00We had an amazing day together with Rolands. He picked us up right on schedule, and in the car his enthusiasm for the tour was immediately apparent! He told us all about the day, about what we could expect. The tour exceeded all our expectations, it was truly beautiful. Rolands was very informative, told us all about the area, the history, the nature. Not only did we enjoy the hiking and breathing in the fresh air, we also learned some very interesting things! Rolands was very friendly and talkative and we could ask all the questions we want, even about the Latvian language and traditions. He was also very helpful, when my wife had trouble with some paths, he helped her. Even when she stubbed her toe, it didn't take any joy out of the day. We had so much fun and laughed a lot. The lunch was also very well prepared and very delicious. Rolands thought of everything, took many lovely pictures, we couldn't have asked for a better guide, paldies Rolands!

Rolands is not only a competent and pleasant guide but also very funny. We really had a lot of fun! The places were very varied and nature beautiful. The surprise snack - or even the sumptuous lunch :) - was really delicious! I can highly recommend this tour (necessarily this tour - there are also smaller ones) and Rolands as a guide. There is absolutely nothing wrong.... except maybe.... that he offered us too much coffee ;)
