This short visit gives you the chance to experience authentic daily life, interact with local sellers, and exchange currency (USD, UZS, or EUR to TJS) before heading toward the Seven Lakes. You’ll also have time to buy snacks or picnic food to enjoy later by the lake.
Seven Lakes
Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Seven Lakes (Haft Kul), located in the heart of the Fan Mountains near Marguzor. Each of the seven lakes has its own unique color, depth, and character — ranging from turquoise to deep blue — surrounded by dramatic cliffs and lush valleys. During the visit, travelers will stop at each lake for short breaks to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and learn about the local legends behind the lakes. At the final lake, you’ll have time to relax, enjoy your packed lunch, or take an optional one-hour hike along the peaceful mountain trails before heading back.

5.00The trip we made with our guide Zhandarazm was very beautiful. My girlfriend and I went on the 7 Lakes Tour and we were very content. We were picked up at the hotel and brought to the Tajik border. After crossing the border we were picked up by the driver and our guide Zhandarazm. The tour was absolutely amazing Zhandarazm is a very kind man and speak very good english. He answered all of our questions and even found me a place to get a Tajik National Team football shirt! The tour was very well explained and the nature in Tajikistan is absolutely stunning. We can highly recommend it!!

5.00Highly recommend it. Both the driver and the tour guide were extremely helpful and nice even tough the weather wasn’t the best they tried to make sure we get the best experience. The views were insane. Def recommend it to anyone either you’re traveling with friends or alone.

4.00Murod was a great guide, knowledge and entertaining. Good value for money, beautiful views and comfortable car. Recommend to take snacks because there weren't a lot of options for lunch especially if you have any allergies or preferences. A bit sad we didn't get the souvenir we were supposed to (small gift), but worth it nonetheless.

4.00A very nice trip, beautiful nature to see and a short look at life in Tajikistan. A friendly guide, but little information or explanation about the experience and the country. We would definitely recommend it! It's a long trip, you'll spend some hours in a rattling bus but the views make it worth it.

5.00Very cool experience! Loved spending the day at the seven lakes in Tajikistan with John who is a great person and a great guide! The roads are bumpy for about 4-5 hours to get to all seven lakes, but it is really worth it!
