Tour in one day, Santa Pola with its Roman origin, the most spectacular salt flats with its amazing pink lagoon in Torrevieja, and the famous island of Tabarca.
We will start our adventure in Torrevieja and go into the Natural Park of the Lagoons of the Mata and Torrevieja, to contemplate the mountains of salt and the Pink Lagoon.
At the next stop from Santa Pola, we will take the boat that takes us towards the island of Tabarca, surrounded by the sea and with sailor-style houses. After a small guided tour, you will have free time for a bath, take photos and taste its gastronomy.
We will take the boat back to Santa Pola, where we will discover its Roman port past on a brief visit to its old town, to learn about its rich history marked by the sea. Then you'll have free time.
After spending the day in these wonderful places, we will take you back to the start of the activity. Book now!

What To Expect
Las Salinas de Torrevieja
We will enter the Natural Park of the Lagoons of the Mata and Torrevieja, to contemplate the mountains of salt, where we also can not overlook is the pink that stands out in its lagoon due to the natural phenomenon that forms in the wetland. After a visit in the salt flats and contemplate this unique landscape that will leave us one of the most original photographs we will continue our journey.
Santa Pola
We will arrive at the port of Santa Pola to take the boat to Tabarca.

4.00Did it independently, bus from La Mata to Santa Pola, and boat... total just over 15 euros each. Boats busy, loved Tabarca but pricey. Imagine it would be too packed in summer. "Glass bottom boat" only had a few grubby little windows!

5.00Good day out, variety of experiences. Guide very pleasant and knowledgeable. Very warm on day we travelled and waiting for ferry back bit uncomfortable but manageable. Staff in restaurants on Tabarca not very pleasant but think this is a general opinion.

4.00The first stop was the pink lagoon. A quick visit where I had time to take some photos and got information about Spain's salt industry. Then a boat trip out to the stunning island of Tabarca. Beautiful. Perfect for swimming and sunbathing or just strolling around in the stunning surroundings. Pretty high prices for food and drink. Bring plenty of sunscreen. Very nice and good guide who parried between Spanish and English in an excellent way. What took down the grade slightly was the waiting time on the boat for the return trip. It was 38 degrees and we had to queue for 60 minutes before departure with partial possibility of some shade.

5.00Fantastic trip for a whole day. Our guide(2nd August 2025) was great. Her Spanish and English were perfect. She was really helpful and joyful. Tabarca is a great island to visit ( don't forget plenty of suncream;) ). It's an inexpensive trip with great views and a very polite guide.

4.00The trip to the island was very nice, the boat trip and the island itself was fun to do. The visit to the salt lake was nice. However, I found it too limited. We stopped in one place, got some info and then we went again. I would have liked to see more there. The visit to Santa Pola was disappointing. It was really waiting until we could get back to the bus. There was nothing to see, very boring.
