Apollonia Archaeological Park

Once a thriving Greek and Roman city, Apollonia Archaeological Park is one of Albania’s most important ancient sites. Founded in the 6th century BC by Greek settlers, Apollonia became a major center of trade, culture, and philosophy, even attracting students like Octavian, the future Emperor Augustus. Apollonia offers a unique mix of history and breathtaking scenery. You will enjoy: -Exploring well-preserved ruins, including the impressive Odeon, Bouleuterion, The Roman Forum and the city walls -The Church of St. Mary, a stunning Byzantine monastery within the park, houses a small museum displaying archaeological finds

Amazing Trip. We really enjoyed our tour with Klaudio from Vlora Daily Trip. The journey to the Monastery, especially to Berat city, was absolutely fantastic!
