Hopefully my review has given future travellers a small insight into a must do trip. The length of tour, was just right to fit everything in. My tour was a prize in a local raffle & given my experience I would gladly pay the fee for the total experience of atmosphere , knowledge etc. Whitey’s commentary was so informative & he included local aboriginal knowledge to tell us about the wonder of Eurimbula National Park & it’s inhabitants (both animal & plants). I learnt some amazing facts, especially about green turtles. Johnno gave us great wisdom in his talks too, especially @ the museum tour & was a very careful driver. The museum tour & history of Bustard Head lighthouse is incredible to see & a true credit to the forward thinkers (mainly Stuart Buchanan, the main driving force of this restoration) & team of volunteers who have made this happen, so it is preserved for future generations. Here, I learnt about different light sequences from each lighthouse positioned on the coastline, which I witnessed 1st hand that night while up @ lookout. There are also caretakers on site, who spend 4 weeks here, living as their predecessors have done, who also give an informative & knowledgeable tour of a restored cottage filled with photos & past treasures. I especially loved the whale teeth. What our forebearers lived through & dealt with on a daily basis, is truly humbling to learn about. They also cater for food intolerances too & a long drop toilet is on the island. So much information was shared by amazing people who have a true passion for where they work. A true credit to everyone involved. This is one of my most memorable travel experiences.

What a fun day out. The mix of great story telling by Whitie and Jono, amazing coastal scenery, the lighthouse history and location- it all made an amazing day. We were a small group, so tons of space on board. The stops for snacks, lunch and photos were well timed, and the sandboarding/swimming stop was amazing. The actual journey over land and water was great fun. I highly recommend this tour- well worth the time.

Truly a fantastic day! The friendly guides were knowledgeable and kept us all going with interesting information and facts throughout the day. Morning Tea and Lunch were really good and I can understand why this little enterprise is becoming one of the top attractions. Do yourself a favour and book.

We went on the 1770 full day tour(Paradise) to the Lighthouse at Bustard Head with lunch. If I could give them 10 stars I would. It was an excellent day with Whitey and Skip. They were both characters and kept us entertained with their stories and jokes(some quite lame ones, but still funny)! The lighthouse museum tour and the lighthouse tour were just sooooooo interesting as well as the cementry tour(very sad of course, but those times were hard). The people who lived there and on Middle Island had so much resilence!! We had a beautiful cool swim in crystal clear water at Jenny Lind Creek (lagoon). The other young ones went tobogooning down the sand dunes, they sure had a ball. We had fun watching🤣😂 the morning tea with a good old fashioned billy put on the fire, it was divine with an anzac biscuit 😋, cordial, fruit or a pack of chips or both. For lunch we has healthy wraps, chicken, ham or vegetarian. They were yummmmmy. I took so many photos because it was a photographers dream, beautiful😲😯. The three of us all said we had the best day! So if you're planning on coming this way don't miss out on this tour, it was fandamtastic🤣😂💖Deb, Greg and Valerie

WOW !!! what a day, our family of 6 had soo much fun. The lighthouse was an incredible experience and let’s not forget about the views when exploring in the Larc. Kids and Adults both got an adrenaline rush with Sand-boarding, 10/10 recommend Whitey and Jono - 10/10 with the knowledge and funny dad jokes thrown in the mix. Lighthouse caretakers ( Denise and Terry) were very knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone.

One of the best tours we ever did . Paul and Neil’s knowledge about Larc, light house, history and geography of the area, flora and fauna , and even well being topics was nothing short of extraordinary, and all delivered with great sense of humour and wonderful views to match. Thanks for running this tours and keeping this knowledge alive ! Sand-boarding was fun too :)

Excellent day out. That is our second trip and once again it was fabulous. Neil and Whitey have so much knowledge of the area and its history. The lighthouse and museum is superb and we were so fortunate to have Stuart there for his knowledge and passion. Good food, good fun. Highly recommend this trip.
