We did the whole ten hour tour and honestly every minute was worth it. The total admission fees for all sites combined came to about 500 pounds per person which felt reasonable for a full day. We spent two hours at the Roman Theater one hour at the catacombs two hours at the library and one hour at the castle plus lunch break. The atmosphere changed from ancient to mysterious to intellectual to heroic. Crowd size varied but never felt annoying. Staff everywhere treated us with respect and smiles. Best for friends who want to explore together and share laughs. Our funny story happened during lunch when my friend tried to order fish and accidentally pointed at a waiter instead of the menu. The waiter laughed and brought us extra bread. We ate like kings. The whole day felt like a road trip with history lessons. 100 percent recommended for any group of friends.

We went with our guide Mohamed who turned every stone into a story. The Roman Theater admission was 200 pounds and we spent 40 minutes there before moving to the catacombs. The library cost 100 pounds and the castle 80 pounds. Total time at all sites was about six hours plus driving and lunch. The atmosphere throughout the day was educational but never boring. Crowd size was manageable because Mohamed timed our visits to avoid the peak hours. Staff at the library gave us a private mini tour of the rare manuscripts room. Best for couples who love learning together without rushing. I remember Mohamed pointing to a relief in the catacombs and saying this Egyptian god is wearing Roman armor. That mix of cultures blew my mind. Then he told us a legend about the lighthouse that made us all silent. Great guide and destination match perfectly.

We were a family of four and this tour gave us sweet memories that we will talk about for years. The total admission fees for all of us were around 1200 pounds which is fair for ten hours of fun. We spent 45 minutes at the Roman Theater an hour at the catacombs two hours at the library and an hour at the castle with a nice lunch break in between. The atmosphere was exciting for the kids especially at the castle where they pretended to be knights. Crowd size was big at the library but the children loved seeing so many books. Staff were patient with my youngest who kept asking questions. Best for families who want an educational adventure. Our short story happened when my son found a small coin on the ground near the catacombs exit. He thought it was treasure. Mohamed smiled and said keep it as a memory. That coin is now on his desk. Sweet memories indeed.

I did something smart and booked this Alexandria tour with Lastminute. The Roman Theater was my first stop with an admission fee of 200 pounds. I spent 35 minutes there because I wanted to save energy for the library. The library fee was 100 pounds and I stayed two hours reading titles in the main hall. The atmosphere inside the library was peaceful and grand. Crowd size was large but quiet. Staff at the information desk showed me a first edition book from the 1800s. Best for friends who love books and old buildings together. I have a funny story from the library elevator. My friend pressed the wrong button and we ended up in a staff only area. A librarian smiled and said you found the secret room. Then she gave us free bookmarks. We laughed all the way out. The castle later was windy and beautiful. Can't recommend this tour enough.

It was a great day in Alexandria. Selma did an excellent job sharing the history of his city. Seeing the catacombs was both haunting and fascinating getting to see the excavation site. We saw the old Sanctuary and Library along with the Pompey's Pillar. The Qaitbay Citadel was the highlight with the amazing views from inside the castle and the surrounding ocean. We capped the day with a wonderful fish meal on the coast.
