We had a great time on this trip. Everything went smooth. The transport over was a nice airconditioned car and the driver was veey skilled and calm. Our guide Gowri was veey professional and fun. It was nice that all our water transport was unmotorized. This led to a lot of relaxing birdwatching. We loved seeing all the kingfishers. It was also veey interesting to see how they make ropes from the coconuts. And the lunch was very tasty. It was a very well rounded and organized tour.

I do not expect much from the tour but it has lots of activities. If you really have nothing to do in kochi fort, you can give it a try. The tour is not 6 hours. It’s about 3 hours bus to the location another 3-4 hours for the tour including lunch.

This was a relaxed and informative activity. We made several enjoyable stops to learn about local traditional methods of coconut craftsmanship, try authentic curries and learn about the spices and plants of the region. The staff were kind, helpful and professional. Our guide, Meera, was in close touch with us from early in the morning to make our pickup smooth and convenient. We definitely recommend this boat tour as a lovely way to spend the day and to learn about the backwaters of Kochi!

This was a lovely day trip. Meera really does have the knowledge about the birds and fauna and communicates this perfectly in several languages. Very impressive

We had a great day on the houseboat and canoe backwaters tour which we booked through Wilson Tours. Stanley Wilson gave us a clear and honest description of what to expect and did not charge a huge price. The trip was exactly as he had described. We were given a delicious local Keralan lunch plus an afternoon cup of tea at a village house. We were celebrating a birthday and Stanley and the lovely very knowledgeable Meera made it feel special. Such a peaceful, relaxed tour surrounded by nature. Jane and Dev from England.
