Vinh Moc Tunnel
On May 1, 1972, thousands of civilians—mainly women, children, the elderly, and soldiers—were killed in a brutal attack along Highway 1. This tragic event remains one of the most horrifying massacres of the Vietnam War
Marking the division of Vietnam at the 17th Parallel under the 1954 Geneva Agreements, this bridge stood as a painful symbol of separation for 21 years until the country was reunified.

5.00Standing on Hien Luong Bridge over Ben Hai River was surreal the symbolic divide between North and South seemed so real in person. He explained the significance with clarity and sensitivity. The lunch earlier had been lovely and filling. The driver maneuvered safely even on narrow roads. A very moving experience overall.
