Wat Rong Khun
Firt stop at: Wat Rong Khun (white temple)is a temple built by a Thai artist named Ajarn Chalermchai. It is a world heritage site certified by UNESCO. The only one in the world is the most beautiful temple of contemporary Buddhist art. When we look at the temple, it is like entering another world, heaven on earth if you want to experience it. You have to come and see for yourself. Duration: 50 minutes
Wat Rong Seur Ten (Blue Temple)
second stop at: Wat Rong Suea Ten or Blue Temple, The Wat Rong Suea Ten or Blue Temple is beautiful temple with a distinctive identity. Created by Ajarn Puttha Krabkaew or Sala Nok, an artist from Chiang Rai. He is a student of Master Chalermchai Kositpipat. It was created using blue and gold as the main features and is very eye-catching and has a pair of elegant Nagas. this blue wonder were once the disciples of the builder of the White Temples Duration: 30 minutes

3.00Bit of a cattle car experience while visiting tourist traps - felt more like a check the box outing than anything else. But it's a very inexpensive way to see most of the sites around Chiang Rai. The tour guide (not great English tbh) and driver were very nice though.

5.00All visits with the exception of the blue temple which we thought was more special than nice.Especially the Baandam museum was interesting.Good guide car and a nice lunch- return around 18:00 - suitable time for activities
