What To Expect
Badiauri
Activities: Your first taste of Kakheti begins with a visit to a local bakery. Guided tour and explanation of traditional bread baking. Tasting of freshly baked Georgian bread and local cheese. Photo stop.
Activities: We continue to a local winery for a deeper dive into the region's flavours. Guided tour of the wine-making facilities. Tasting of regional wines, cheese, and other local foods. A short walk around the property and a photo stop.
What‘s Included
Artisanal Bread & Cheese: In the village of Badiauri, you will sample aromatic Georgian bread, freshly baked in a traditional tone oven, paired with various types of local Georgian cheese.
Wines: Saperavi (red), Kindzmarauli (semi-sweet red), and Rkatsiteli (white), served from both traditional qvevri and classic barrels.
Gratuities: Tips for your tour guide and driver are not required but are greatly appreciated.
Lunch at the Restaurant: The meal at the restaurant in Telavi is not included in the tour price and will be an additional cost.

5.00The tour was great! A very attentive and sympathetic guide with an excellent sense of humour. Free tasting of Georgian wines in a very colorful tasting room in Kakheti is a separate experience 😊 Not only is it told and shown, but it also gives you a taste 🍷 Kazbegi, without further ado, just "Wow" breathtaking from this beauty.

5.00All three receptionists i met at Fun Travel Georgia were really friendly and helpful! They gave me good advice on what tour is the best for me. The good thing about it was, i could wait inside the Travel Agency, meanwhile the receptionist waited for the bus outside till it came. It was perfect because it was raining! I did the Kaheti and Gori, Uplishke Tour. The best was the Kaheti tour with the Guide Levani! The Gori Tour was also nice!
