What To Expect
With over a dozen wineries all within a 3km distance from your starting point, you’ll be sure to see everything you want! Our base is located in the heart of the Marlborough wine region. At The Vines Village you have everything at your fingertips, an on-site cafe, Gin Distellery, Whiskey Bar, and its very own cellar door! You can have lunch there or ride to one of the nearby winery restaurants. Or based at The home of Marlborough’s new Food & Wine Experience, our CBD start point makes it easy to join a network of beautiful cycleways, including the gentle Taylor River Pathway, the emerging Whale Trail and the scenic Wither Hills tracks. These routes weave through vineyards, rivers and rural landscapes, taking you past wineries, local eateries, outdoor activity hubs and iconic attractions such as the Omaka Aviation Museum. Leave your worries behind as this Bike Hire provides you with everything you need. You’ll be given a map of the winery region, a helmet, bike and our recommendations on where to visit and what wines to try! During Winter (June, July & August) rain or shine you’re covered: should winter weather roll in, your adventure continues! We’ll provide van support (and umbrellas) to two points on the wine trail, giving easy walking access to up to 8 stops: 5 cellar doors Whiskey & cheese tasting Boutique gin distillery Restaurants and café Gift shops Whether you’re cycling between tastings or cosying up on a winter stroll, your Marlborough wine adventure is guaranteed.

5.00A great place to pick up your bike in the Marlborough wine region just outside Blenheim. We rented e-bikes because it can be windy out there and you have to ride halotour trip against the wind The e-bikes were in perfect condition: obviously quite new, the gear changes were very smooth and the brakes worked perfectly

5.00Really well organised! Drivers friendly, knowledgeable and on time 😊 Visited 5 vineyards and had a fab time. Really great welcome at Wairau River cellar from Deb & Sue. Glorious scenery, excellent e-bikes, relaxing lunch stop at Boomtown Brewery, and cool shade at Cloudy Bay. Great day!

5.00This was a great experience and well run. Picked up and dropped back to our accommodation by a friendly team, great bikes, clear maps and information. The cycling was flat and traffic free and vineyards were welcoming, with very affordable tasting flights and some lovely food options. And wine that we bought was collected for us! Highly recommend.

5.00What a great way to experience the Gibbston Valley wineries. The company was excellent and it was a spectacular easy ride to the wineries and the great wine & food at your leisure before being collected to be taken home. The scenery is incredible and e-bikes make it a win win.
