Three spectacular highlights in one sightseeing tour: 5 of the most spectacular viewing platforms in Austria, “5 Fingers”, only 20 to 30 minutes easy to moderate hiking one way from the top of the cable car station are necessary for an unforgettable experience. (In winter you need to have sturdy snow boots. With lots of snow special equipment can be rented at the cable car station.)!
The picturesque Lakes and Mountains district “Salzkammergut” and the extraordinary village “Hallstatt” at Lake Hallstättersee. The UNESCO Cultural Heritage Committee wrote: “… nature of extraordinary beauty added to scientific import …” Some guests say it is the most extraordinary lake village in the world.
It is a Small Group Minivan Tour (up to 8 pax/van). Each guest will be taken care personally!

Fuschl am See
Heading east from Salzburg City the first lake we pass is the emerald lake Fuschlsee!
A short stop high over St.Gilgen (a site from "The Sound of Music" movie). On the way to 5 Fingers and Hallstatt we go through the famous Lakes and Mountains district “Salzkammergut” passing by also hotel Schloss Fushl and the headquarters of Red Bull. Photo stop high over Lake Wolfgang and the Mozart village St. Gilgen .

5.00We really loved this trip, Fritz was amazing and he shared his knowledge with us on the way. It was a great opportunity to experience other parts of Austria and learn about it too. Would totally recommend the full day with the hike to 5 Fingers, breathtaking views

4.00Very considerate and knowledgeable guide, but a little difficult to hear if you were sitting in the back of the van. Hallstatt is beautiful. But overrun with too many tourists for such a small town. Never got lunch because the wait was over an hour. The experience at the top of the mountain at the Five Fingers Lakes was very cool. Be prepared to bring about 50 EU per person for funicular tickets.

5.00Great fun! We loved hiking the Alps of Austria to the 5 Fingers. We had a wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Fritz. Bit of advice, be sure to eat prior to the tour, when visiting Hallstatt, the restaurants are very very busy with limited seating. Additionally, being Euros, as they prefer cash or credit cards.

5.00The Minivan Tour from Salzburg to Hallstatt with 5 Fingers was great! We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Our tour guide Shiva was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. (We requested for a slight detour to take a picture of a sight that we had missed on our way out and he took us there on our way back.) Hallstatt is a beautiful lakeside village. The Funicular near Hallstatt was closed and a new one is under construction. Going up to Five Fingers gave us a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and lakes from a different angle.

5.00We had four people in the small group tour to Hallstatt and the Five Fingers. Shiva was our host, and he was knowledgeable and very professional. The ride to FF was gorgeous as the autumn colors were at their colorful peak. That alone made it a 5* trip. Hallstatt was surprisingly quiet for a Friday, and it was idyllic in nature. A lovely village to visit. The trip to FF included a cable car ride and then a 20-minute walk to the lookout. Unfortunately, when we reached the summit, the view was obscured by clouds, so there was nothing to see. That said, the whole experience was wonderful and we made friends with a mother and daughter from Australia who enhanced the experience.

5.00Group size is cosy with just 5 persons. Shiva is a great guide who is very knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful. A lot of story telling and sharing along the route, showing us different sights, providing us with some local knowledge. He is a good photographer too. We are lucky to have him as our guide.
