Trip was probably the highlight of our Alaska trip that included Fairbanks, and Seward. Guide was informative and friendly. Met us at our pick up point and then drove to our hotel a mile away so I could park my car in a location i felt more comfortable with. Guide held that safety was the ultimate goal without being over the top about it. The lunch break at the lodge was GREAT! We left the glacier ahead of time, my fiance got tired; and, we are both senior citizens. Since we were the first group at the lodge for lunch we got the best table in the house! The food was excellent and I strongly suggest getting the pie along with ice-cream for dessert! Can't remember the guides name (I'm terrible with remembering names) But I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in the excursion!

What an incredible day out of Resurrection Bay! Captain Mark and his crew (Sarah, Casey and Quinn) were all so accommodating and kind. Being a AK resident, I enjoy taking friends and family on glacier/wildlife cruises when they visit. I've toured with other companies before, and this was by far my best experience. And it is completely worth every penny to take the longer day cruise (they offer AK resident discount, as well!). Even though it was a cloudy, foggy day out of Seward, we still saw all that Alaska has to offer - eagles, glaciers, otters, harbor seals, whales, puffins, sea stars and sea lions . A truly an epic experience! I learned a lot from Captain Mark and his 30+ years of touring the area. The food was also tasty, but I suggest bringing extra snacks/drinks if you'd like to save $ on a longer day. Make sure to dress in layers so you can enjoy all the views from outside - waterproof is best!

What an amazing day! Highly recommend. We saw so much wildlife including puffins, humpback whales, sea lions, and harbor seals. The glacier was very active with several calving events. Tour is at a great pace.

Captain Lindstrom was incredibly knowledgeable and gifted in showing us all of the sites along the way to include patiently, waiting for whale sightings, finding us little coves with spectacular views and giving us the history of the glacier. His team on board was exceptionally generous with their time and talents, the food was excellent and surprisingly abundant! I can't recommend this group in the store more.

We did the full day cruise and had a beautiful day on the water with a knowledgeable and friendly captain and crew. They did an excellent job describing the area and pointing out wildlife along the way. Watching the glacier calve was absolutely unforgettable—an awesome experience all around!

This was a long (6 hour) tour, but it was very well narrated and quite interesting. We saw a lot of sea life on the out-and-back boat ride. Whale, otter, seal lion, puffin and other birds. They served a very basic lunch (a wrap and some chips) but lots of options for drinks for sale. It was a cold and rainy day (mid -August) but with lots of room to flip from inside to outside viewing/seating, it was enjoyable. It’s a nice tour and great boat ride. VictorB

We had a wonderful day with Captain Chris and Crew today for 8 hours, The weather could not have been better and the expansive natural beauty was beyond spectacular. The Captain and crew were all friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly knew how to make a tour like this one very memorable. We saw sea lions basking in the sun, seals, a humpback whale, a minke whale, a pod of orcas, and thousands of varied birds nesting in the amazing area of the Chiswell Islands. It was a day of beauty and appreciation for the natural world, and of learning so much from the outstanding crew led by the impressive Captain Chris. Kenai Fjords Tours made the logistics of signing in and boarding the tour boat smooth and easy. We highly recommend this tour and likely any offered by Kenai Fjords Tours would be equally outstanding.

Excellent excursion! All crew members were amazingly knowledgeable and eagerly shared information about the sea life and answered all of our questions. We watched and heard the ice chunks “calve” from a glacier and were less than 1/4 mile away. The captain piloted the ship through beautiful columns of rock formations and we even watched an orca feed on another orca. We had lunch on the boat that was delicious and the crew surprised us by baking cookies also! Overall, an phenomenal and educational trip!
