What To Expect
Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve
Our Quito Middle of the World Cloud Forest Hummingbird Feeders Tour starts at 9:00 am from Quito and we will head towards the northwest of Pichincha Province, crossing some climatic floors. Our first stop will be at the Pululahua Volcano. From a panoramic viewerpoint we will observe the crater of the majestic volcano. We can observe some native plants such as bromeliads, orchids and some medicinal species. There is a local community living in to the Crater.
Would your like to feed Hummingbirds from your hands? This is the place. Toucans, Tanagers Feeders. Aguties, squirrels, orchids, bromeliads are part of this Amazing Experience. bring binoculars, cámara have a good zoom. Great place to photograph flora, Birds and nature in the could forest.

5.00We did a field course with Uni, where we visited feeders between Quito and Coca and ended with a Quito tour. The guide and bus driver did an excellent job with making sure the trips between spots went smoothly and they were very friendly and helpful. The guide also offered - for those among us who are staying longer - to help with planning our own trips and giving helpful advice about logistics like busses. They truly created an amazing and unforgettable experience for us and we can't thank them enough.
