The garden has served many purposes over the centuries. It was originally built as a feudal lord's Tokyo residence and duck hunting grounds between the 17th and 19th centuries. And then it became a garden and an imperial detached palace before eventually being opened to the public in its current form. It is located close to Tsukiji outer market. You can enjoy seasonal flowers and green spaces with seawater ponds.

5.00We were able to discover the West Quarter with its two large parks , a memorial, shopping streets and cherry blossoms, then the center district and a tour on the port and finally the North Quarter with Sensi-ji Temple. Very interesting with an attentive guide and a very comfortable car.

5.00Our guides Umi and Roberto were great! It was a very hot day and they made sure to try to keep us cool and ask us what experiences we really wanted to have in Tokyo. They also took care of handling the mobility scooter that we used and it took a lot of pressure off of me. This was a wonderful addition to our stay in Tokyo.
