Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids
Saqqara, it's the major part of Memphis’s massive necropolis. In Saqqara, you will see one of the major archaeological sites in Egypt, the Complex of King Djoser, dating back to the third dynasty (around 2630 BC). This complex is considered the first complete stone construction in ancient Egyptian history, and it contains the oldest stone structure in the Pharaonic civilization, the step pyramid, built by the engineer Imhotep. Then you proceed to discover another kind of pharaonic pyramids like the King Teti pyramid of the sixth dynasty. Unlike Giza pyramids, these pyramids contain texts called the pyramids texts as a guide for the king in his pass to the afterlife. After that, go to the burial site of the most ancient Noble Egyptians dating back to the old and new kingdoms and visit Kagemni tomb to see the inscriptions showing daily life habits in ancient Egypt.
Memphis and Sakkara
The city of the scorpion king, The first King in ancient Egypt and the founder of the first Capital of Egypt called Memphis where you visit The Open Air Museum The open-air museum is one of the remaining types of evidence of ancient Memphis, built around a magnificent fallen colossal limestone statue of Ramses II. Its position on its back gives a great opportunity to inspect the carving up close. Its twin is the statue that stood in Midan Ramses in Cairo until 2006 when it was moved to stand guard by the Grand Egyptian Museum construction site. Other highlights of the museum include an alabaster sphinx of the New Kingdom, two statues of Ramses II that originally adorned Nubian temples, and the huge stone beds on which the sacred Apis bulls were mummified before being placed in the Serapeum at Saqqara. COLOSSUS OF RAMESSES II is a beautifully carved from a single massive piece of high-quality indurated limestone, this colossus of Ramesses II is one of the masterpieces of the museum.

It was great have Mahmoud as my tour guide, I can say that he enhanced the tour experience with his knowledge and recommendations. He knows the best places and the way he explained all the history it’s very easy to follow and absorb. Hopefully if I return to Cairo I definitely choose him and recommend him.

My husband and I did a private tour of the GEM museum, Pyramids of Giza, had lunch, did some shopping, and got to see the Sphinx. Mahmoud was an amazing tour guide. He explained a lot of the history, told us great stories to explain how many things originated and the family history of Kings. He had answers to all of our questions and more. We also got to go inside a pyramid which was a great experience. He was patient, very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us good insight on where to buy things. I highly recommend booking a tour with him, you’ll have a wonderful experience!

Excellent tour! Guide Aly knows a lot about Egyptian history. The driver was also great, and I drove very well, which was very important to us as we were with our son. The Pyramids and Saqqarh tour was great!

Mr. Ali explained in English, but he explained it carefully while visiting the museum. I also speak a little Japanese, so if you have any questions, please ask! There are many things you can only see here, so come and see them! It was amazing.

If you're on the fence about which tour to take, this is the one! This tour far exceed our expectations! Mahmoud was quick to answer any questions we had and our guide Bakr was very informative and enthusiastic about the history of Egypt. We learned so much from him that gave us so much more respect and wonder for the ancient Egyptians. The price was well worth what we got and we were able to customize our itinerary to see what mattered most to us.

Mo the guide was fantastic, the route very nice, moulded to us. The tour was private. He gave us cold water. We went to see a papyrus factory and a cartux factory.

This trip has SOO far surpassed my sky high expectations of it, I don't even know how to begin to describe it. I truly feel I won the golden ticket by going on this Egyptian Ren Adventure tour. If you've ever had Egypt in your heart, this was like stepping into a dream. To witness the beauty, the culture, the art and energy that embodies this land, is truly humbling and awe inspiring. Our guide Mahmoud Elfeky made sure this was an epic adventure for us, his knowledge of everything we saw and did was beyond impressive. Walking the street markets of Cairo was like being immersed in a 3-D mosaic of everything that can sparkle. We saw King Tuts mask and treasures in the old Cairo museum (and his mummy in the valley of the kings). We climb into pyramids and rode camels around them. It's hard to put it into words... surreal, magical, fantastical! Everything went so smoothly. Do not leave this earth without taking a cruise on the Nile River. It's like no other. Our boat had less than 60 guests on board. It was complete with an amazing buffet, bar with entertainment, spa, massage, gift and jewelry shops and a roof top with pool, hot tub, bar and lounge chairs (perfect for star gazing). Each of our cabins were huge with a sitting and ourour own balcony! Our stops along the Nile: the Nubian village, Valley of the Kings, Luxor, and Karnak with Special permission to view Sekhmet!! Our stay in Marsa Alam continued the high caliber of our stay. Our side adventures there included a submarine boat ride to view one of the last remaining coral reefs in the world and an Arabian horse back ride galloping across the desert which ended with a ride on the waters edge of the red sea at sunset. Magical. This was truly a legendary adventure. I encourage everyone to make the time and book a tour with Mahmoud Elfeky as your guide. It will be one of the most incredible things you'll ever do. I honestly wouldn't have changed a thing except to make the trip longer. You will dream of your return.

Thanks to Mr Mahmoud Adel for an amazing day out with family! He picked us up in an air conditioned van and was very knowledgeable about the history of the places that we visited. We had many questions for him and he answered them all! We had some family members with mobility issues and a baby as well, and I was worried that the trip wouldn't be enjoyable for everyone. But everyone had an amazing day, and Mahmoud tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and to fit our schedule. I highly recommend booking a tour with him! He can accommodate your schedule and what you would like to see.
