Fanja is a picturesque village that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Situated near Wadi Fanja, the village showcases the stunning scenery of the area, with the wadi providing a wonderful backdrop to the village's natural beauty.

Wahiba Sands is an iconic natural attraction, renowned for its great golden sands. It is not only a natural wonder but also a region rich in cultural heritage. The desert is inhabited by the Bedouin, and we will be visiting a traditional Bedouin house offers an authentic experience. Guests are welcomed with free Omani coffee and dates, and can explore various handmade items and enjoy camel riding. Additionally, there will be a stop in the sands to relish the scenery and take photos.

The entire experience was flawlessly organized and filled with incredible moments, from an enjoyable camel ride in the desert to swimming in the crystal-clear natural pools of Wadi Bani Khalid. One of the true highlights was the unique opportunity to witness the gathering of hundreds of cars in the desert and experience exhilarating drives over the towering sand dunes—an adrenaline-filled experience we will never forget. The day concluded perfectly with a breathtaking desert sunset, enjoyed with a cup of tea in hand, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Asaad’s excellent driving skills, deep knowledge of the region, and engaging explanations about Omani culture and desert life added tremendous value to the tour. He was professional, friendly, and consistently attentive to our comfort and safety, making us feel relaxed and well cared for throughout the day. Asaad was an ideal guide—knowledgeable, relaxed, and flexible. If you love geology, the shifting mountain colors on the way to the desert are a treat. 5.00It was a really nice trip with the guide Asaad. I received a lot of cultural, civilizational and historical information about Oman. The car was comfortable and there was flexibility in time. We tried Omani tea and delicious Omani bread. As well as the beautiful view. I advise everyone to book without hesitation.

5.00It was nice to get out of Muscat and see a different part of Oman. We visited a Bedouin camp, the red/gold Sands Desert and the Wadi Bani Khalid. Asaad is the perfect guide, loved sharing his knowledge of this part of the country and his “no rush” relaxed style of touring suited me. If you enjoy geology you will marvel at the changing colors of the mountains as the drive takes you to the desert. Another great tour from the folks who manage the operations in Oman, highly recommended.
