What To Expect
Ulun Danu Bratan Temple
Ulun Danu Beratan : iconic Temple on Lake Beratan in the Bedugul Highlands The shrines are known as merus and are square structures with brick bases and multiple pagoda-style thatched roofs; the number of roofs reflects the status of the deity, and is always an odd number. Pura Ulun Danu Beratan is one of the nine ‘Kahyangan Jagat’ temples on Bali. The temple complex consists of five various shrines dedicated to other Hindu gods as well. Built in 1633, the temple is used for offerings and ceremonies dedicated to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as a main source of irrigation in central Bali. The 11-storey pelinggih meru in the complex is dedicated to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha‘s statue is also enshrined in this temple. This temple is also called the “Bali temple on the Lake” because it looks as if it is floating when the Bratan River rises.
Jatiluwih Green Land
Next, we drive around 40 to 60 minute to Stop at the widest rice terraces in Bali called Jatiluwih which has been acknowledged from UNESCO as part of the world’s cultural heritage in maintaining the local culture of irrigation system called Subak.

5.00We had an amazing full-day trip thanks to Tara, our wonderful driver and guide! 🌿 The journey from Canggu to Munduk was unforgettable — rice terraces, waterfalls, swings, and stunning viewpoints. Tara showed us so many beautiful spots we would have never discovered on our own. He’s kind, thoughtful, always smiling, and full of great suggestions. The highlight was how he handled our late arrival at our hotel, which was deep in the jungle (we actually booked it by mistake 😅). It was very dark and hard to reach at night, but Tara went above and beyond to make sure we got there safely — such a professional! Thank you again, Tara, for your kindness, patience, and great company. 🙏 We highly recommend Tara to anyone who wants to explore Bali in the best way possible — with a guide who truly cares and makes every moment special. 🚗✨

5.00For all of our adventures in Bali Ngurah our guide from Bali Trip Drivers was excellent. From exploring temples in Uluwatu and visiting beautiful beaches, shopping for art, wood carvings and jewellery, undertaking Holy Water spiritual cleansing and ATV driving in Ubud. Ngurah was the ultimate guide. Not only was his English excellent he had a wealth of knowledge to share with us throughout our journeys with him teaching us the intricacies of Bali life and sharing his culture. We highly recommend Ngurah as the best guide we've ever encountered in beautiful Bali.
