Drive via Allora and see what is known as the Mary Poppins house where author P L Travers lived when her father was transferred there in 1905 as the Bank Manager of Australian Joint Stock Bank. Time for a photo stop We continue on along the “Sunflower Route”, Named for the sunflower crops that proliferate the landscape during the summer, the Sunflower Route is a pretty drive from Allora to Warwick out through some of the most fertile farming land in the Darling Downs. Corn, sorghum, oats, wheat and barley thrive here throughout the year. But summer is the time to visit if you want to see sunflowers – they’re usually in bloom from early January through to mid-March, depending on seasonal rainfall. Morning tea at the Weeping Mulberry. Sit back and relax in one of their cosy and delightful private rooms. Coffee, potted tea and pastries are on offer. Take some time to wander from place to place through the intimate space and discover new ideas for your home and garden

With over 30 years of experience Tony has a vast knowledge of his craft. Listen to his stories as he brings his wine to life, the bouquet, the taste and finally the savouring of his favourite drops. You will leave this winery with a greater understanding of the life of the vines.

5.00If you love great wine and even better food, this Toowoomba-to-Stanthorpe tour is a must. The hospitality was incredible from start to finish. Our host was a master of logistics, making the whole day feel seamless and relaxed. The culinary highlights were a dream—specifically the pizza, which was easily the best we’ve had in ages. They were also wonderfully accommodating to our underage guest, making sure everyone had a wonderful experience. A perfect day in the Granite Belt.

5.00My friend and I recently did a wine tour from Toowoomba to Stanthorpe with Fiona from Boileau Concierge Services and it was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we were picked up, the whole experience felt seamless, relaxed and beautifully curated. Fiona took care of everything so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the day. The drive through to the Granite Belt was stunning, and her knowledge of the region and its wineries made each stop even more special. We visited a selection of gorgeous wineries, enjoyed generous tastings and had the most beautiful lunch at one of the wineries, which was such a highlight. Sitting there with a glass of local wine overlooking the vineyards was exactly what you imagine when you plan a girls’ wine escape. What really elevated the day were the thoughtful luxury touches. Chilled water on board, cold scented towels between stops and a comfortable, stylish vehicle made the experience feel premium from start to finish. The lightly scented towels were such a beautiful detail and so refreshing between wineries. It is those little extras that turn a great day into a truly memorable experience. Fiona was warm, professional and incredibly attentive throughout the entire tour. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and takes pride in creating a high end, personalised experience. If you are thinking about exploring Stanthorpe wine country, I cannot recommend Fiona highly enough. It was the perfect mix of luxury, fun and exceptional local wine. We are already planning our next trip.

5.00If you are looking for a wine trip out of Toowoomba this is a treat Very well organised Fiona has great insights into the local region and good connections to the wineries. Her selections were first class, and really opened my eyes into the granite belt wine making scene. The added challenge was we visited in a public holiday with half the wineries closed!!!! Insights and knowledge of the region was a real bonus.

5.00Fabulous! Fiona took us to 4 wineries in the Stanthorpe area. Fiona, being from the area, answered any questions we had on the way from Toowoomba to the wineries. All the wineries were great, both the wine and the service. At Ballandean and Kominos we were greeted and enchanted by the families who owned the winery. They all knew Fiona, who was relaxed but kept things moving. All in all all a wonderful day trip that we recommend to all. Thanks, Fiona!
