1.00Agree with all others comments. Had to wait 50 minutes for the boat. Lunch place was terrible and at a bay with dirty water where you can’t swim.

5.00Wow, what an experience! This was easily one of the best days of our holiday. Ash our driver to the port was so polite and knowledgeable. Our speedboat driver was great fun and the vibes were fun. The island itself was so beautiful and definitely worth the trip! The lunch on the second island was so tasty and the rum was flowing nicely👍🏽 We then went on to the waterfall which was pretty and then back to the starting point. Overall a really enjoyable day, if in doubt book it!

2.00Firstly our taxi pick up was great with Ash. A nice guy that chatted all the way. It was over an hour from the Grand Baie and balaclava area to the boat boarding in the east coast. We waited long times for the boats on the island and it felt disorganised with no one sure which speedboats we were using. We stood waiting for maybe an hour in total. The speed ride across the waves was fun and the boat comfortable enough of a little crowned with limited views for some. Lunch stop was good with great service and plenty of food and drinks of rum and beers. The wine was like warm petrol so wouldn’t recommend that. Also no toilets whatsoever so you walk into the wooded area and go behind a tree The taxi back was fine and sitting in the front seat helped. Wouldn’t repeat this trip but maybe it was just a bad day for organisation.

1.00Pick up and drop off from our cruise port location was great once we had direct contact with the driver. Everything else was really poor. Advanced request for confirmation of pick-up point was ignored - even when we chased again. We arrived on time, check-in was haphazard, no info on departure plans. Fundamentally the tour operator was vastly over-booked so tried to manage by running two shifts of boat departures and drop offs, changing the trip plan on several occasions leaving us with no confidence that they knew what they were doing nor that they might collect us to bring us back at the end of the trip. Deposited at Ile aux Cerfs about an hour late in a boat licensed for 8 passengers and carrying 11. Really poor communication on meeting points and timings. After 2 hours, transported to neighbouring island for lunch. Given 2 courses not 3. Service poor, again totally over-booked. Quality of food poor. ‘Unlimited’ drinks was a bit of an overstatement. Waited 2.5 hours for boat to pick us up and take us to the waterfall. Again, no notice on timing - we just sat and waited until someone showed up. On return from the trip we had to contact the driver ourselves which meant another 20 minute wait for him to come. We’ve used Viator successfully many times before but this was awful. Totally over-priced and a waste of time. We’d strongly recommend that Viator do not use this local tour operator any more. We’ll be asking for a refund.

5.00We were picked up on time by a very pleasant and helpful driver (like all Mauritians in fact) Arriving at the boat, someone received us to introduce us to the day and we then got on the speed boat driven by John (a gentleman in gold!!) ... heading to the island with the lighthouse (just splendid 😳😳😳 ) then a little aperitif break (at 10:30 a.m....!!!) rum-vanilla, coke, fruit juice....and music!! A truly magical and unforgettable moment where when we think about it, our eyes shine......😭 Then head to Deer Island with a simply delicious BBQ 👌... then some activities on the island then return to the pontoon where just before our skipper John delighted us with his zig zags on the boat!!! Day marked for life for all of us!! It was real life.... without worries just with a driver who loves his island and who shares it with you all day long. Thank you Bellemare and a very big thank you to JOHN who was at the top. Long live Mauritius!!!!👍👍👍👍
