We begin our tour in the Flores and Santa Elena Area, we go to your Hotel 15 Minutes before the Departure Time and we drive for 50 minutes and arrive at the Main Entrance of the Tikal National Park.

We arrive at the main entrance of the National Park "Tikal" at this point the Park Rangers carry out the first control of Admission Tickets to the Park (the purchase of Admission Tickets to the Park is not included, you can do it in the Bank system one day before your visit or you can purchase them online at https://boletos.culturaguate.com you buy two, one for Entrance to the Park Q.150.00 and another for Sunrise Q.100 total Q. 250.00 = USD 34.00 it is very important to have them with you) then we continue for 20 minutes and we arrive at the Visitor Center.

Magical experience sitting atop the steps of Temple IV and hearing/seeing the jungle wake up. This sunrise tour is the proper way to enjoy Tikal.

Luis was a fantastic tour guide Bring surplus snacks/water - it's a long day Remember to buy Tikal tickets in advance - there is no signal at the park You can likely find cheaper tours at in-person agents once in Flores (~200-225GTQ)

Not a great experience overall. We were told we would be picked up from our hotel at 3:00 AM, but the driver didn’t arrive until 3:25. When he finally showed up, he rushed us aggressively as if it were our fault he was late, even yelling “go go go” at us in Spanish. The bus was completely packed — 16 people crammed in with barely any room to breathe or move. While I understand the bus may technically fit 16 people, as a tour agency, comfort should be a priority. Common sense should have limited the group to 14 people max to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. Because of how uncomfortable and stressful the ride to Tikal was, my wife and I ended up arranging private transportation for the return trip. Once we arrived at Tikal, the tour itself was fantastic — but the poor transportation experience put a damper on the day. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this company to friends based on our experience.

Amazing experience. On time transport, and our guide got us to the temple before most other groups well before sunrise! Walking through a jungle in the dark while howler monkeys screamed like velociraptors nearby was worth it alone, and thats just the first 45 minutes.

Even though the low fog hid the sunrise, it was wonderful hearing the jungle wake up. Not so hot either for the climbing at this time of day. Our guide, Lloyd, was really lovely, informative but not information overload, light-hearted and obviously knew his stuff. Good amount of free time too. As a tour guide myself, I don't like to be bombarded by too much information and I appreciate some free time.
