We begin our tour in the Flores and Santa Elena Area, we go to your Hotel 15 Minutes before the Departure Time and we drive for 50 minutes and arrive at the Main Entrance of the Tikal National Park.

We arrive at the main entrance of the National Park "Tikal" at this point the Park Rangers carry out the first control of Admission Tickets to the Park (the purchase of Admission Tickets to the Park is not included, you can do it in the Bank system one day before your visit or you can purchase them online at https://boletos.culturaguate.com you buy two, one for Entrance to the Park Q.150.00 and another for Sunrise Q.100 total Q. 250.00 = USD 34.00 it is very important to have them with you) then we continue for 20 minutes and we arrive at the Visitor Center.

The probability of seeing the sunrise is low, hence my rating of 4 stars. The created an expectation that, depending on immeasurable factors must be demysticated. The guide was excellent and managed to quench this remarkable.

First of all, let’s talk about our tour guide: Lloyd was the absolute best. He was professional, funny, informative, and kind. Without him the tour would not have been as amazing as it was. He deserves a raise if that’s possible to do! Now the tour: If I could describe it in one word, it would be… unforgettable. Such a beautiful experience and the views were breathtaking. Waking up at 3am and trekking for about 45 min was so worth it for the sunrise we were able to capture. Afterwards, we were able to take our time at each temple, climb the ones that were allowed to be climbed, and take plenty of pictures. I would definitely recommend booking with this agency. Their customer service was quick to reply and willing to accommodate. We stayed at the Hotel Jaguar Inn which was walking distance to the entrance of the park and they still offered us shuttle service in the morning. We accepted not knowing the proximity of the meeting point and felt so silly afterwards. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!

Guides can be rude at times, they don’t do a good job keeping the group together, and if you are at the back they won’t wait for you to explain what you’re looking at. If we. Hold have entered the park at sunrise without the guide and your, we would have. Possibly better to lower your expectations with this tour.
