Original booked tour-date was 17/3 with pick up time as early as 5 am. I flew half of the world for this tour and wrote for confirmation about 1-week in advance to make sure there'd be no problem about the program, but no response at all. Only by 5 pm.of the day prior to the tour that the operator wrote back that my tour would be cancelled. No other recovery nor compensation was offered, just "Cancelled". I wrote back immediately and received no reply. I then asked Viator and my hotel reception to help. Only late in the night that I was told my tour would be moved to 18/3 instead. What would happen if my schedule wasn't available on the date. I'd understand if any problem occurred but with timely correction but the tour operator handling as above was seriously unacceptable. On 18/3 the pickup and transfer was on time and the long journey to Copan went well. Unfortunately, the guide-on-site offered very basic information. A lot of room for improvement left to be corrected.

Unfortunately I was not able to do the tour so I can't judge that. Just want to warn that despite I booked the Copan tour 3.5 months in advance it was cancelled 10 hours in advance because there were no minimum 3 people booked. I couldn’t arrange another day and what else was not possible because of the cancellation just before the tour. I offered to pay for 3 people but then there appeared to be no guide. Never mind the guide, it turned out there was no driver. In other words, keep in mind that the tour can be rescheduled.

I made the longest and longest journey, leaving San Salvador. The best would be leaving Guatemala. But we were compensated upon arrival at Copan. We were compensated enormously and even more with our guide MrJorge. Culture in person

Great overall experience on the Copán trip. It’s a long journey, but everything was smooth and well organized. Gaby was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable, and she really made the trip enjoyable. The ruins were interesting, though not the most spectacular we’ve seen, but still worth visiting.

Great tour! Everyone was super nice and communicated very well, it was super easy getting through all the borders, and the drive wasn’t bad at all. Lots of opportunities to see new things and meet new people. Definitely a long day though, left at 04:30am and returned at 8:00pm. Need room for 6-8 new passport stamps. Definitely communicate with them and check if your trip will be going, as my trip was scheduled for a Tuesday, and on the Saturday before I messages then to check if my tour would be going, as they will cancel the night before if you are the only person on the tour that day, and they told me I was the only person booked for the Tuesday, so I was able to be moved to the Monday instead on a day the tour was already confirmed to be going.

This is an amazing company with very professional guides. Josue gave already info before trip and all went on time. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and humble. The trip was amazing and we got a great guide also at Copan ruins, Marvin. Francis, the manager is also very helpful and can be proud of his people. Can only recommend.

Our trip coordinator, Diego G., picked us up right on time. He clearly communicated with us (install WhatsApp if you don’t already use it) and confirmed all details before and during the trip. He thoughtfully reminded us what to bring and what to expect. The drive was long, but Diego made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Border stops were a breeze with his help — it was so nice not having to figure out the process ourselves. Copán is truly impressive. Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. Diego arranged an English-speaking guide (only approved guides from the Copán area are allowed), and I highly recommend doing the same. Juan Carlos brought the stones to life! He struck the perfect balance of information and storytelling to keep us engaged throughout. Food for thought: Tipping isn’t common practice in El Salvador and Honduras, but consider tipping your trip coordinator and Copán guide. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Copán and had time to stroll around the town center before heading back. At the end of the day, both my husband and I agreed — it was a good day.
