5.00We took the 14+ hour tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai & on to the Golden Triangle. The minivan picked us up from our hotel at 7:30 a.m. We visited the Long Neck Karen village, the White Temple, Blue Temple & the Black House Museum before going on to the border of Thailand for a 30 minute boat ride on the Mekong River from Thailand, past Myanmar & Laos then back to Thailand. Had a 3 1/2 - 4 hour van ride back to Chiang Mai. Looong day but really enjoyed it. The young woman guide, Bee, was super helpful, good English, explained everything completely.

5.00We saw a lot on this intensive tour and learned a lot about the 3 temples and the 3 famous artists. The Mekong and the Golden Triangle have something very special about them. It's a very long day, but it was absolutely worth it. The companion Anna was super nice and competent.

3.00Misleading tour description. There was no boat ride and there was no border (Myanmar / Laos) visit, which was given in the tour description. This tour is about visiting 3 temples - white temple, blue temple and the black house or the museum. Got picked up in a van and put in a bus with other 3 van people - found out we paid way higher than the rest of the tour groups for the same tour. Did not expect this from Viator. Tour was professionally managed and organized but the misleading tour description and the overpricing did not great a good feeling.

5.00On time pick up from the hotel. Knowledgeable tour guide, Eve, and good driver. Covered all the spots as described. Particular love the Blue Temple. However, I felt there was not enough time to thoroughly tour each site due to the distance from Chiang Mai and between sites.

5.00I enjoyed the Tour from Chaing Mi which is definitely a Full day tour. Expect between 12-14 hours. The mini van was full but comfortable which is necessary for the long trip up to the Golden Trianhle area. Many stops along the way.. Karen Long Neck Village, White Temple, Blue Temple, Baandam museum/ complex and a boat ride in the Golden Triangle area border area of Burma 🇲🇲 Laos 🇱🇦 and Thailand 🇹🇭. The stop for lunch @ a buffet style meal was good with a lot of selections. The guide was very good. She struggled with others on the tour that just consistently refused to be at the predetermined location and time specified and were constantly late which made her have to go look for them. Please don't be those person(s) it made her job much more difficult and harder on everyone in the group. I recommend this tour and company if you can do a FULL DAY and can follow instructions and can be courteous to your other travelers.

5.00Even though this tour was long it was a great experience. The places visited were fantastic, the White and Blue Temples were absolutetly gorgeous and different from any other ones we've seeing in other places. The hot springs was a fun experience, even though we weren't allowed to stay for a bit. All in all it was a great tour!

4.00It is a very long day but good if you are short on time and don’t want to spend a night in Chiang Rai. The lunch at a local restaurant was delicious and plentiful. Our guide made sure we had adequate restroom and snack breaks but also ensured we kept to the schedule for each stop. Our driver was also excellent. We were ahead of schedule and got back to Chiang Mai earlier than planned. The driver dropped some of us that wanted to go to the Sunday night market instead of back to our hotels. All in all a great day.
