In this 8 hour tour you will be able to visit The Home of Golf, St Andrews, as well as some highlights on the way there.

Our first stop out of Edinburgh will be at South Queensferry, the gateway town to Fife and St Andrews.

Crossing over the Firth of Forth our next stop is at Dunfermline Abbey, burial site of past Scottish Kings and Queens.

Nearby is the Birthplace of Andrew Carnegie, once the richest man in the world.

Stopping briefly at one of the little coastal fishing villages, we will make our way to St Andrews.

Once in St Andrews, your driver/guide will take you around the town pointing out the highlights. You will then be free to walk the Old Course and get your photo taken at the Swilcan Bridge, just like a professional. You can then walk around the grounds of St Andrews Cathedral, the University or just indulge yourself in a little lunch or retail therapy in this charming little town.

Once your tour of St Andrews is complete we will make our way back to Edinburgh.

What To Expect

Once you have booked with us and before the day of your tour, we will notify you to let you know who your driver will be and the vehicle that will be used on the day. All of our vehicles comfortably seat upto 6 passengers and have air conditioning throughout. We aim to provide a Mercedes but sometimes during periods of high demand we may need to provide an alternative vehicle of equivalent size, capacity and comfort. Rest assured that there will be adequate comfort breaks during the tour and we also ensure that you will have enough time at each location that we stop at to have a thorough look around without feeling rushed.

We spent two days traveling around Edinburgh and the Highlands. Stephen was Fabulous!! He’s so fun and very knowledgeable and picked the best spots for us to visit and Terrific Restaurants. St. Andrew’s was unreal❤️❤️❤️ It was such a great time we could not have picked a better guide. We love him!!! Thank you Stephen.

Hands down one of the best tour guides I have had ANYWHERE. It really helps that Stephen is an Edinburgh local. He knows his city and country like the back of his hand, and is such a personable guy. You feel like he's your new best friend after about an hour of chatting with him. Sometimes it can be awkward doing a tour in a new country, because you feel like you're going to say or do the wrong thing, or ask a dumb question, but he makes it so fun, with snacks, jokes and plenty of bathroom breaks. He is always concerned about your comfort and anticipates your needs for a coffee break, or wanting to stop to stretch and get fresh air. It's more like driving around with an old friend who wants to show you how great his country is. I cannot recommend him enough for personable service and beautiful drives around the most beautiful country in the world. I'm ready to book another trip soon to see other parts of the country!

Stephan took us on two bespoke tours. One to Stirling Castle, stopping at several of our ancestors birth places and the second day to St Andrew’s. He also did our airport transfers. All were fantastic. I highly recommend Stephan’s tours. They are awesome!

Andy was amazing! He was so accommodating and easy to work with. We had a wedding and he picked us up and took us to the wedding destination. But we wanted to stop at a few places along the drive. He was so easy to work with in picking what places made the most sense and made sure everything timed out well so we arrived to our final destination on time. We will be using him again next time we go to Scotland and recommending him to all our friends and family!

"My Andy" was incredible AGAIN!! I did realize I do NOT like Whiskey.... St Andrew's tour was perfect and the Scottish History we learned was AMAZING! Andy M was great last year with my family and this year was even better!
The best tour guide in Edinburgh. Andy is the nicest and most knowledgeable guy in town.

We were 6 people with varying interests. Andy spent months emailing me options and working with us to create the perfect trip. We ended up with 6 days trips since everything he suggested sounded wonderful. Andy picked us up every morning from our air bnb And dropped us at night. He had an itinerary but was always flexible when we asked for a detour or a request to stay longer in an area to relax or have a nice lunch or shop. He arranged for all lunches at wonderful non touristy places. His personality was lovely. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed spending time with him. Friendly and knowledgeable are 2 adjectives to describe him. I would recommend him with 10 stars if that was an option. Thank you Andy for a very memorable and wonderful trip.

Andy our guide was amazing. He made our trip unforgettable. It was truly an amazing day and the highlight of our 8 day trip. He was so accommodating and patient with our group of 6. The stop at Dunfermline Abbey was breathtaking. Of course, St Andrews did not disappoint. Only 1 out of our group of 6 is a golfer and still say this tour was hands down the best! If you get Andy, you will be guaranteed an amazing day.

Andy took my wife and me on a tour to St. Andrews from Edinburgh. I can truly say in all our traveling and tours, Andy was the best. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and a delightful person to be with and around. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting the "best".

Andy of Edinburgh cab tours gave us a great tour that he customized to our requests. We saw everything that we wanted and more. Very easy going and knowledgeable and he knew all the unique out of the way places to get great photos. Overall an excellent guide that I would highly recommend! We will be using him again on our next trip to Scotland.
