Experience a full day at the beautiful Friesian island of Texel and its surrounding UNESCO World Heritage site Waddensea! On this family friendly full day island tour we will drive up to the north and take the ferry to Texel to explore its National Parks, historic villages and beaches. The Waddensea is famous for its distinctive difference between high and low tide, the bird migration and its beautiful nature. If the tide and weather provides, we will include a short hiking excursion on the mudflats, the actual bottom of the Waddensea. In one of the historic villages we will stop for lunch (not included). We will pick you up in Amsterdam in the morning and will bring you back late afternoon. A full day of island experience at one of Holland’s most beautiful islands!

5.00My husband and I had a very memorable day with Eva. Depending on the tides and weather your tour might differ a bit so don’t hold them to our itinerary! We thoroughly enjoyed travelling with her from Amsterdam, across the ferry and through the sights of the island. She knows so much about the area and is a wonderful conversationalist. The optional seal tour was a definite highlight. We had high tide so got to watch the seals hunt for fish in the sea around the boat. It was an experience that was good for the soul. We also saw a lovely windmill, nature reserve and toured the small charming island towns. Included was a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Make sure you pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly - remember you can leave things in the auto when you go out to tour. This was an excellent way to get out to the sea and countryside away from the touristy tours. Highly recommended.

1.00I didn’t visit anything! I I had booked a trip on Trip Advisor called “Full day seal safari....” .I paid and I received my voucher with all information about the trip as usually ( is not the first time when I booked with Trip Adviser and till now It was all fine) . I checked the night before the meeting point. On 14 of August I was 30 minute before the trip at meeting point. There was nobody there. I asked all bus drivers about the trip but nobody knew nothing. On my voucher it was a phone number .I called and called and there was a robot. After three quarter of hour somebody answer the phone. It was somebody from Dutch Marina who told me the trip was cancelled. I was refunded but I decided not to booked a trip on Viator never ever.
