Petrovaradin Fortress
Petrovaradin is a fortress built on a rock on the Danube. It was built in 1692 and completed in 1780. It guards the Danube. It is the earliest symbol of Novi Sad and is called "Gibraltar on the Danube." There have been many wars in history. In 1948, it was listed as a nationally protected historical site. In addition to visiting the clock tower and overlooking the Danube in the fortress, you can also visit the museum in Novi Sad.
